Totally useless... D1. Vanguard starting out a fresh character all of them had a full inventory. D2. Vanguard you only have Zavala that has an inventory that hasn't been updated in a year. Cayde-6 is dead and removed from the game. Ikora has an empty inventory that she is nothing but a power engram holder, totally useless. D1. Factions always had a full inventory of emblems, weapons, gear and later updated to having a rotating inventory and they were there 24-7 that they also have (class-specific items.) D2. Factions were removed over a year ago. The dumbest move this company has ever made in this game with Factions. D1. The Gunsmith always had a full inventory D2. The Gunsmith 2 whopping mods handing out hundreds and thousands of duplicates. D1. The speaker has a full inventory and you could trade material D2. He's dead and removed from the game. D1. Every DLC all of the above were updated with a fresh inventory D2. All of the above barely anything updated in 2 years. Making them Totally useless. D1. Petra had somewhat of an inventory that you could collect a ship, shaders, etc. D2. Patra is nothing but a bounty place holder that has been handing out duplicates for 2 years. D1. Eris Morn in TDB had a full inventory of Shaders, emblems, Titan mark, Warlock bond, Hunters cloak and she sold ammo, etc. D2. Eris Morn I can almost guarantee she will only be a useless bounty place holder with Shadow Keep like the rest of the vendors in this entire game. D1. Crucible court master has a full inventory, you can purchase weapons sparrows and material that was updated ever DLC. D2. No crucible court master. D1. Vanguard court master has a full inventory of weapons, sparrows and later updated to purchase material. D2. No vanguard court master. D1. Shaxx had an inventory but was updated every DLC. D2. Shaxx hasn't been updated in a year other than quest like D1 had. D1. Variks has a full inventory of Amor, ships, shaders, ammo, Titan mark... and the material with a weapon that all of that was on a rotating system. All of this and I didn't even add ROI vendors. Most vendors in D1 you could triad with or purchase certain items like ammo that the price varied in material/ glimmer. In D2 the vendors are totally useless or nothing but bounty place holders. This entire DLC has felt more like a big QoL update and less like an actual expansion. This was Bungie's moment to show that they didn't need Activision to make fantastic content, but all they did was show that they are straight up lazy.

I’d paid for this so I’m gonna play. But if this is the path they continue down I doubt I’ll pay/play any further. Lesson learned.

It's a dlc I'm just curious, did you play through the entire thing in 1 sitting? Couldn't pace yourself? No work, school or any other real life responsibilities to do?

It's literally everybody's faultbfor buying it STOP BUYING IT! If you want real change the community needs to go to rehab and quit cold turkey. It's the only damn way to change destiny. They will continue ur to do the same shit over and OVER again until you all stop paying for it! Stop buying dlc. Stop buying from eververse! I knew this shit would happen and I'm for one glad I didn't buy the dlc for once!

Play Vex offensive? Or the new Raid? Or any of the multiple exotic quests and ritual weapon quests? Grind out better armor and all the new weapons?

Bungie lost the help of other development houses, move to steam, and set up cross save while working on this expansion. They were bad at making content before they lost help what did anyone expect now?

1. It’s only a dlc. 2. Go read your road map. We’re only getting started. 3. Bungie stopped releasing the content all at once because they learned that players like you—-no matter how much they add to the game—will burn through it as fast as possible.... ...and then complain that it wasn’t enough. I swear you kids act more like addicts jonesing for a fix than people enjoying a hobby.

Bungie said it was a rise of iron,, size dlc, which is exactly the size it is. With that info you had an idea or the knowledge to look and get an idea of the size of the dlc. With that info , you had the ability to make an informed decision on purchasing the dlc. BUT ,most of you didnt, and now are crying about it.

Honestly if you want so much more, then wait. The solution is super simple. Wait - check out reviews, check out this forum, ask friends who have it, you know, become informed before the purchase. I pre-ordered, knowing I would love it and I do. But dude, if you really are concerned about where you put your hard earned dollars and want something to suit specifically what you want, then wait before purchase. Just understand, that people will have different opinions and experiences to you.
