Last time in the astral plane. [spoiler]Acro begins to harness astral powers in the astral realm after being coached by an astral being that appeared as a rendition of bopsheezi After being attacked by an astral beast, Acro used the skills bop taught him to defeat the beast and pass his first trial.[/spoiler] The soft glow of the second astral being Acro would encounter grew brighter as Acro stood up and approached it. As the being began to take shape, Acro started to recognize an astral version of Lee forming from the light and smiled to himself. This lesson would be a fun one. As Lee completed his materialization, he looked down at Acro and said "I appear to you now to help you learn the laws of this land. Take my hand." After finishing his words, Lee extended his hand to Acro who took the hand in his own. After grabbing the astral hand, Acro felt a great calm wash over him as Lee began to show him visions. Visions of a shining yellow light, visions of a majestic animal, visions of astral beasts teaming though the land, visions of darkness, desperation, and despair. As Acro saw the last few visions, the feeling of calm turned into a blanket of dread in his gut and a primal fear. Acro broke free from Lee's grip gasping for air in short fast breaths. After regaining some of his composure, Acro turned to Lee and asked, "What... what was that?" With more than a hint of fear in his voice. Lee responded with a strangely calm tone in his voice as of here were stating a fact of life "That was the future of this land if you fail. The beasts hunger for the light this place holds." Acro stood thinking about what Lee had said, just as he was about to speak, Lee began to speak again "What is worse is that if you fail, the beasts will find their way into the physical plane, and if they do there will be almost no way of stopping them" Acro thought Lee's words over and asked a question "How do I stop this?" Lee responded quickly an ominous reverberation hinted at in the back of his voice "kill the beasts at their core, once their leader falls so do the rest. Once you remove the beasts, this realm and its powers will be yours and your astral guide will reveal itself to you." "Ok" Acro spoke quietly feeling a somber tone in the moment. Lee's voice boomed one final time. "I have given you the knowledge you need to break the curse on this land. I must go now..." Lee began to dissolve into his surroundings and Acro prepared himself for the battle he was soon to undergo. ______________________________________ [quote]Back in the physical world[/quote] The scientists and experimenters at Acro's lab worked even in their boss' absence.
