I take offense to this: any sniper.
Well maybe you didn't realize this when you posted but there is a Sniper Rifle Triumph on the Crucible Mastery page.
I use the sniper to get the mastery, that and sword are the only ones I don't have completed.
I do not stream, twitch, or YouTube.
I am gainfully employed.

Not satire, I suck at PvP and hate it, but I play a game I which PvP content is part of the game. As a completionist I try every part of the game as I am trying for all the triumphs. I know my skill level means i will not ever be able to do that. But i am running a Sniper rifle as that and sword are the only two weapons I have not Mastered in the crucible category. I am really bad at sniper so it will take me a really long time to get the necessary kills. So a generalist posting that anyone maining using a general sniper is offensive to those players that are playing the game for fun and trying new things they would otherwise not do.

This helped me back in D1 to get the hang, then increase it as you get more comfortable. Don’t be scared to quick/drag scope ( you’ll be surprised at some of the shots you’ll actually make) and I personally prefer the 140 rpm (aniella dead orbit sniper if you ever got it is a beast) as they have a higher handling which makes them feel snappy but also reduces flinch. Maybe if you want watch some vids but I never sniped in D1 until TDB/HoW, I used to use only snipe in OW to get the feel and limitations of the gun. Good luck, I’m sure you’ll get it.
