I'm not paying $40 for forsaken, and another $30 for the annual pass, especially when I've seen the reviews that are currently out. Activision or not, I'm not paying full price for something as lackluster as has been.
If they did $40 for both forsaken and the Annual pass, might consider it.

2 通の返信Don’t listen to half this community. Half of them are trolls and salty as -blam!-. Watch some YouTube vids of gameplay or ask a friend for a shot of theirs and make your own mind up. All the cry babies will tell you this game is shit because they can’t get a certain weapon or exotic or something.

Just 3 things for me: 1. If they allow matchmaking for nightfall and the raid. Just a lowered tiered raid so that randoms can learn the mechanics of it. Since I jumped ship to The Division, I have experienced all the end game activities that game offered because of their matchmaking system. Given that Destiny raids are harder and needs more coordination, having that choice to do a raid without going to LFG site would allow more players to enjoy the game. Just play at your own risk. 2. I don’t know if this still an issue, Destiny has many interesting exotic weapons and armor yet you can only carry 1 of each. They should change this. 3.the economy of this game needs to be more simplified. To many materials that you need just in order to enhance your equipment.

Hold off for a sale. Grind sucks for crappy loot. At this point, Bungie has no viable income from destiny other then silver purchases. Don't expect much in the way of fixes or anything beyond the roadmap. Add that to the dwindling population, and I see sales coming.

But you really should consider forsaken, it’s fantastic.

1 返信I love destiny and my advice to anyone deciding whether or not to come back in is make sure you have friends to play with so you can do raids, nightfalls, and exotic quests together. Makes it more fun than dealing with lfg randoms.

1 返信GrundleBeansにより編集済み: 1/19/2019 1:05:29 AMA year+ worth of new content with reasons to play practically every day, that will steadily update with changes and new content for only $70. Can't say that much about most other games that also charge as much or not much less. Also, Forsaken is the best DLC for D2. So if you judge everything about it based on the previous DLCs or only the base game, you're missing out.

5 通の返信My buddies and I all quit playing Destiny 2 about 6 weeks after it came out. It got boring so fast. In November on a whim we decided to put it back in and try it out (after a year away). We are LOVING it. The Foresaken campaign with Cayde is amazing. There is tons of stuff to do and the guns all have different rolls. I paid $25 for Foresaken from New Egg and have easily got my money’s worth. I haven’t got the annual pass yet but my buddies that have it are loving it. $30 or so is what you spend at Applebee’s. Skip one dinner out and get Foresaken :)

7 通の返信I payed 60 for plastic minis that I have to put together and paint, 70 for a video game is trivial.

2 通の返信Forsaken would be worth it, but it being out for so long now, I think it should be sold at a discount. I imagine it will remain at full price for a while. I personally wouldn’t pay a dime on the annual pass, the additional “content” that it includes should be “free” with the game having micro transactions.

32 通の返信I can't think of anything I have ever purchased that has the entertainment value per dollar. Look at what $70 or more buys you in hours of entertainment and compare that to your potential play time. 2 hours at a concert, 3 hours at a sports match, 10 hours in movie theaters or some number of hours sitting in pubs, restaurants, Starbucks, etc. $70 for unlimited hours of Destiny entertainment is cheap.

3 通の返信Forsaken is worth the $40 if you get the itch, however it does wear off. Still a huge improvement, but the loot kinda falls flat. However, I totally regret the annual pass. Not worth $30 to me at all. Overall, if you’ve waited this long don’t bother. Get Alienation. It’s Diablo 3 with guns, better loot system, you can even upgrade your weapons and legendaries and re-roll stays if you like. Worth the time and it cost me $2.49.

3 通の返信Forsaken is worth $50 to be fair. It's amazing. I think I enjoyed it more than any Destiny release ever. Everything was done so well. Anyway... That said, the annual pass is for people who simply enjoy playing D2. Thats it. So yeah. If you dont like it, I would not recommend it. For obvious reasons....because you dont like it..

If you aren’t willing to see two sides of a discussion why bother starting one at all? You, my friend, will not be missed in my forum experience. 👊🏼😁
