Wishender: The Prime Example of Novelty Exotics
As someone that loves bows; I wanted it to be so much better. I’m disappointed both in the accuracy and how often the secondary perk does what it’s supposed to do. The fact that the bow itself is taller than my guardian should mean that it hits harder than any other bow but instead it feels lackluster compared to both subtle calamity and no turning back

7 通の返信Are you high? The thing hits like a -blam!-ing truck! With a full draw it overpenetrates and the exit wound does more damage on a body than an initial crit. I can't help but think you are doing it wrong.

1 返信Just got mine this past weekend and I had higher expectations for it myself. But its not bad by any means and it really shines against Taken enemies. The draw time is a bit higher than I'd like but perhaps a catalyst could bring it down and possibly add firefly or archer tempo to help support it taking your exotic slot.

I remember feeling that it did hit harder but just not enough to ohk, which I think would be OP anyway. I found the truesight perk to be useless because of its low range and the short charge hold time for the bow. My suggestion would be to have the truesight range increase as the bow is drawn.

1 返信It's ok that's it's a trophy cuz the quest was one of my favorite exotic quests. There's really only like 7-8 really good exotic weapons anyway

1 返信This bow is one of the best weapons in competitive. Until a more “popular” Destiny youtuber makes a video about it, no one will try it out competitively.

7 通の返信I was using it in quickplay and got hatemail after a Titan rage quit halfway through the match. Since it has such a painfully long draw, I wish it would one shot headshot.

It could certainly hit a little harder though. I wouldn't complain. The draw time is kinda crazy. Or give it an intrinsic archer's tempo. Maybe that could be a catalyst.

1 返信There aren't many exotics outside of the heavys that are worth using in end game content, yeah fun but miles off in terms of DPS, average legendary heavys are the main issue for me.

8 通の返信Imo its meant for Shattered Throne and as a method of acquiring eggs for the title. I really dont think its meant for what it was advertised to do. It does do well in ST.

5 通の返信Haven't tried it out yet (still need to finish Shattered Throne), but I doubt it'll supplant Le Monarque for me. With that being said, I think it's really cool that WE destroys the eggs all around the Dreaming City. That's a pretty badass easter egg (no pun intended).

1 返信Its Bungie being too clever again. Like the German tendency to over-engineer machines. Given the latency issues with this game's networking, they should have just given the bow double damage, rather than breaking it up into separate events.
