Again, my weapon gained a lv requirement that it didnt had when upgrading.
so it happened again, but now with a exotic helm.
it had already happened with a legendary weapon so i thought only exotic itens could be upgraded without lv restriction passing through infusion, but seems like thats not the case, some itens dont have lv requirement and some itens have, you literally have to know what item has that and what item doesnt.

if someone from bungie dont respond me i might not even buy this game anymore, these unwarned things make me feel so stupid, grinding items for hours and then i cant even upgraded it because i wont be able to use it anymore, right now i have two of my main items stored because of this, that is no warning at all, and thats disgusting for a company to do something like that.

8 通の返信After reading a few comments I can explain it easily Thunderlord has no level requirements, can be infuse up as high as you want. Foetracer has a level requirement, if you try to infuse higher level items into it, said armor piece gains the level requirement of the hight level item you use for infusion. The reason thunderlord does not do this is because it was free content for all players, and bungie did not add this same restriction to it. However, that said, the game does not tell you that it does this, and you have to figure it out on your own. That is a fault of not only Bungie, but the player making this mistake. Sorry pal.

9 通の返信I will make this as easy as possible. Base game max power is 300. Anything above that will not be available to you to use. If you get a higher drop, you can save it for if you buy dlc or break it down, infusing it into something else will make it unusable to you.

9 通の返信wow, i never discussed with such a close minded community, Bungie cant make mistakes, only players can, i get It guys, you are ALL saying that i should buy the DLCs, and thats exacly why i wont. because this game lacks so much Basic shit that is makes players frustrated.

For the content you have access to under level 50, l would hazard to say light shouldn't be an issue. You also don't suffer for not equipping your higher light stuff - if you just keep what you have on, and keep the higher light piece on the side, it's still counted in your next engrams and their light output. You don't have to equip your best light gear - so until you reach level 50, don't try to. They would do well to add a notice ingame like "Warning, infusing this gear piece will make it a higher level than you can currently equip, do you wish to proceed?" However sadly that is not the current case as Bungie lacks basic foresight.

When you infuse any item to a higher power level it's character level requirement goes up. So, if a particular chatacter can use a piece of gear because of the character level requirement then you shouldn't infuse it into gear you want to use with that character.

Everyone has told you what the problem is. Buy the DLC or don't... No one cares. Stop infusing higher than your level. AND... The game tells you that you can't use it. Requires LL "X" is clearly on items higher than your current level. You infused a usable item with an item above your level and expected the usable item to go up in level and remove the restriction??? This one is on you Bud.

10 通の返信Each weapon/armor has a lvl rank to them. If you get a higher piece that you are unable to use and try to infuse it into a piece you are currently using the higher lvl will be applied to that piece making it unusable. Example - you are lvl 20 using lvl 18 foetracker, you pick up a higher helmet - you infuse a lvl 43 helmet into a lvl 18 exotic - the exotic is now a lvl 43 item as a lvl 20 player you are unable to use this item. I hope that made sense and explains the issue you are having.
