Retro synthwave vibe, could look up a few, where was everyone when this came out? Who knows, but it’s finally becoming mainstream now.

Stranger Things made it mainstream a while ago. This has been my shit since 2011 and it's bitter sweet to see it become more popular. I've been saying for a looooong time that synth fits sci-fi far better than strings/a full orchestra score. It's also far cheaper.

If you look at all that concept art and other classic scifi book covers it's pretty clear if the Retrofuturist shotgun doesn't make it clear already. I think this style of music does a pretty nice job of fitting it into that retro age.
