My only beefs with Iron Banner is the light level advantages being turned on and the terrible matchmaking. Too many times I'm with a team of 350's vs a team full of 385's. Now that's almost a 10% advantage for armor and weapons for the other team. Which is a lot considering how evenly matched the weapons are in this game. It's freaking ridiculous.

It's at least 2.5% per 10 light levels. That's on weapon damage and armor. Some serious ridiculousness. Oh well, I guess a lot of the 380 light classes will fall back to reality whenever normal crucible play kicks back in.

If the math is right... Every 10 light levels is a 10% disadvantage/advantage. A team of 350s vs 385s has a 30% disadvantage. They are not going to win....well they will be lucky to win. Since many teams ignore crests its possible just unlikely.

I agree with that. The matchmaking is rubbish. I'd say most of my games are lost. A couple by the margin of my effort. But FFS, most are won or lost by huge margins! I was in one 2300 to 440 or so. In ten games, 2 were mercied. What sort of system selection put this into a game? I guess Iron Banner is Iron Banner, but 380 Titans are gunna walk all over 360's.
