So beyond the base game, we've got in the house of wolves which was a little bit of the story of the houses of the Fallen. then we get the dark below, which is an expansion of the hives backstory then we get the taken King which is the further expansion of both, the hive and the fallens backstory. and how they can easily be manipulated by the taken King oryx. then we get the rise of iron, you know what I've noticed in all this? That the enemies are practically the same except for some reshading of the character model, in the R.O.I all we get from the enemy's is a few new pieces of armor slapped on them, some red tendrils on their body, and they're slightly stronger? Why not take this opportunity to introduce a new type of enemy? Why not give us a completely new map to explore? A new planet altogether? Sometimes I honestly feel like bungie is doing the minimum amount of effort to give us new content, and charging the maximum amount of money allowed. I mean with the taken King, at least we got an entirely new planet, and new subclass, new ships, a somewhat old but somewhat new type of enemy, but with the rise of iron all we're doing is exploring the cosmodrome there, and once again and really all we get out of it is some new armor and a new social area? How is this worth my money? and you know what I've noticed? Throughout all of these expansions, the cabal have not been touched. they are still the same as what they once were, we have gotten little lore from them. even though they have had ample opportunity to include it in DLC. I honestly look for the next DLC to be an expansion on the cabal, their back story, and a new version of them to be introduced. "destiny: where we give you the same content slightly different and charge you for it"
