Hate this meta..
Are their any solid counters to the current hawksaw/shotgun, Eyasluna/Shotgun, PDX45/Shotgun, Grasp/Shotgun, LastWord/Shotgun meta? something actually consistent?
I normally can do pretty well with my Ace and Vortex but lately there's just to many shotguns in play at once for me to handle. Not sure what to do to do well in the current meta without resorting to it. Tips would be appreciated.

Be careful when approaching corners, keep a keen eye on your radar, try to stay closer to open areas where shotgun rushers will be at a disadvantage, stick near your teammates, and just be generally more aware of what's going on around you so you can quickly react when an enemy player tries to blitz your face.

1 返信Autorifles and fusions are really good at countering shotguns. The main thing is being aware of your surroundings. Also if you see a shot gunner rushing you, start moving backwards while lighting him up.

Hand cannons with good range and high impact fusions do the trick. Dont let them get close. Third eye works great they cant sneak up. When they charge just melt melt melt !

1 返信Learn to love the Plan C. Best shotgun counter ever. Keep an eye on your radar and bait them into rushing you.

If there's anything I've learned from playing this game, if you hate the meta just practice in it and wait for the change. Shotgun range is not impractical. Go to a private match and learn about the actual range and precision needed to execute a ohk with a shotgun. Its not super easy outside of normal range. Use your primary, mow them down. Use a side arm, mow them down. I have played shotgun for a long time and believe that any whining now is just a reaction to the change of meta and not the actual gun balance. We are transitioning from snipers ruling the crucible to more primary play, use it and you'll be surprised at how little you need your secondary. This is the best balance so far.

2 通の返信If you can't shotgun then side arm. They switch fast and they shoot fast as soon as you see somebody coming for you swap and hit them about 4 times. They are very nice.

5 通の返信Switch your FR. Vortex is a great FR but it doesn't cover the distance like a vacancy of thesan can.
