Social Labels, I mean.
I'm a girl but I've often been mistaken for a boy, due to my square shoulders, upper and lower body muscles, and because of my less-than-girly voice (My voice is at a pitch where, if you're not listening quite right, it can often be a girl or boy's voice). I can thank my life living on the farm for my less-than-feminine muscles.
I sometimes wear darker nail polish, sometimes black. I always keep my hair short, and nowadays I wear it up in a fohawk and I colour the fohawk. I almost never wear makeup unless it's for a special occasion. I despise wearing dresses or blouses/skirts, and you'll always be seeing me wearing t-shirts and jeans. I also hate wearing bright colours; you'll rarely see me in bright colours. I usually wear black, as well, mainly because it's one of my more favoured colours to wear. You'll also see me wearing a lot of "boyish" stuff; like Batman shirts, for example.
You also rarely see me with girl friends. I have a lot of friends who are boys, mainly because we share a lot of common interests (the most prominent one being video games).
In short, I'm basically a Tom-Boy. The most common labels that people stick on me are:
- Butch
- Goth
- Emo
- Homosexual
So, what about you guys? What are the most common labels that people tend to stick on you that are far from the truth; comment away, Offtopic!
