In terms of DPS, what does better?

1 返信The only way 1K could out dps BS is if it had Triple Tap, Casket Mag and Spray and Play.

1 返信Everybody that says 1KYS or any other sniper that you have to reload must not know what DPS stands for. DPS is Damage Per Second, not overall damage. Obviously a sniper that you don't have to reload will have higher DPS than one that you have to take a couple seconds to reload after 3-5 shots, assuming the user can get consistent precision shots.

4 通の返信You're comparing one sniper to another sniper. Ever realize that you usually use all your sniper ammo (with a good brand holder) and usually start using some heavy? Hell I've had to resort to primary before. So my 1KYS + sleeper, beats spindle + terminus. 7 shot mag almost comes close to spindle (not quite, but close) and sleeper definitely makes up for any lost dps and THEN some.

You don't have to reload Black Spindle in most PvE situations and that's doubly true when fighting a boss. So of course it beats 1k, but as far as PvP goes I'd say they're pretty even. Maybe 1k edges it out depending on how many bullets your mag holds.

2 通の返信What's your target, what's your Stare roll, and how good is your aim? Those are all factors. For the average guy with the average roll, Black Spindle will always be better. Sure some weapon combinations and good perks with some people might outperform the average BS user, but that's it.

3 通の返信God roll 1KYS of mine outperforms my spindle any day. 5 in the mag, triple tap, firefly. I get 7 shots before reloading and I usually rock that with sleeper and a chest piece for 12 rounds of it.

2 通の返信On war priest I've always out damaged spindles with 1k yard stare and sleeper. 1k stare with boots and chest holds 24 shots, add triple tap and that's a total of 30 shots compared to spindles max 24. Now if you have the raid gloves and you get all Crits you can unload all 30 shots faster then get a good amount of sleeper shots as well(as long as the person holding aura is keeping it out long enough).

Black Spindle, if I remember correctly, has higher impact and can fire continuously it's not more damage in a short amount of time, but over maybe ten seconds it'll definitely do a lot more than the 1000 yard

2 通の返信It's funny when people say defiance of Yasmin is better/ compare it to black spindle. Black spindle has higher impact and doesn't need to reload, (if said person wielding it is competent and can land head shots). Even planet destiny compared them by saying "you can switch to a heavy for MORE DAMAGE" because you have more "up time". Look in not exactly quoting them but that's pretty much what they said.

5 通の返信People who say 1000YS mostly don't have Black Spindle or are used to the 1000YS scope from PvP and don't want to change. Real question is, Black Spindle or Sleeper on Warpriest?

4 通の返信Voted for Black Spindle, but with the right perks 1KYS can definitely beat it by a fair margin. Perfect DPS roll would be Triple Tap, Casket Mag, and Spray and Play. I don't think anything could beat that.
