So Bungie Taking a Month Off

My company had their Christmas party last week at a resort, after the formal dinner everyone in the company got called up onto stage one by one and received our Christmas bonus. After it was said and done the owner of the company announced that the bar was open (meaning free drinks) then said he didn't want to see anyone's face for 3 weeks. 3 weeks paid vacation and everyone got a bonus check. Good things come to people who work hard and work for a good company. Good on Bungie for letting whoever they give time off too. This time of year everyone deserves it for their hard work they put in the other 11 months of the year.

You realize that not all of Bungie is taking off right? I don't know the community manager's itineraries, but even they won't be gone a whole month. Urk said, just last week, we'd be getting a festival of the lost type event the first week or two of the new year. Let's not forget IB and trials still need to have an eye kept on them. The live team is still there,obviously , and I doubt anyone working on (possible) Y2 dlcs or D2 would be taking an entire month off. A week or two? Yeah, sure, they deserve a break just like all working people do. Just because there's not a weekly update doesn't mean the offices are deserted. DeeJ said in the last couple paragraphs there would be an update when there's news to fuel it. And honestly, I'd rather not have an update than have 3 more updates that say nothing.

Ok let's just assume that they're not doing a god damned thing since there's no update until the 21st. Are you that stupid to think that everyone at Bungie dropped everything they're doing? Just because there's no weekly update doesn't mean they're not working on something, as big or small as it may turn out to be.

4 通の返信They're not taking a month off. There just won't be weekly updates until January something. Twitter will be live. Ninjas will be on. Help will be on. Security team will be on. People will be in the studio monitoring. You must not have been here last year at this time
