Bungie do you only have two modes for weapons?
OP or useless? Just tried TLW out in TTK crucible, trying to do that maddening quest... and what the hell man. Look, it needed a nerf, but surely there must have been some middle ground. It is borderline useless. You always seem to do this. it was the same with Suros way back. aim for some damned middle ground guys. If something was OP you dont need to go to the extreme opposite.

This way you could use a medium-long range primary of your choice and use the new exotic, (TLW side arm) in short-medium range situations. Allows for more diversity in load outs.

To be fair with how strong hipfire headshots are with TLW and how it was bugged to proc the extra damage even when ADS it should never have been useful at the range it was before 2.0 anyway. I mean, as far as stats go it had FAR less range than most shotguns but could still 2 shot from mid-long range. It's now effective within its intended reach. It's a great shotgun counter.

What I did was ads at their belt from a relatively close range and spam the trigger typically ended with a headshot kill but it takes some getting used to due to the recoil you have to aim downward as shooting but just enough to where it still climbs their body to land a headshot or two in the end worked on a few shottys too
