Why are so many of you such douchebags on this forum?
I was furious over the news that all my stuff was going to be obsolete so i started a rant thread.
I was ready to leave the community over it.
Turns out I was pretty misinformed about what was going on.
Thanks to some people on this forum that took a minute or two to correct my opinion and give me some good ways of looking at things, it brought me back into the fold.
But I realized something, people wanting to quit over this or that really aren't the problem.
The ridiculous ammount of straight up jerkoffs that took time to comment on the post with all sorts of insulting, irrelevant, namecalling are part of the problem. People that didn't even bother to read the whole body of the post to see that i had changed my mind after I was shown the light.
Wtf?
I don't personally care, but some of you guys can be real dicks, and i bet a lot of them are the same douches that gloat and teabag and send shitty messages to people calling them scrubs and noobs and not accepting people into raids because they don't have the "right" gear, or are new to the game, or are younger kids, to Git gud or some other juvenile ignorant crap.
You guys really suck that are like that.
Some people even used straight up hatespeech
Look, maybe it gets annoying looking at people's posts that are ranting about quitting over this or that, some are legit gripes over the direction the game was going (like mine) some are straight up stupid reasons that I've seen. Sometimes they're SO ridiculously dumb i feel the urge to be a dick, but i dont because I'm not an ass-hőle.
Look, if it's over something that the person is obviously misinformed about be nice and point it out don't just bomb the person with douchbag comments and push them away, keep doing that and otherwise decent people will leave, and then eventually the only people you'll have to play with will be jerkoffs and douchebags.
I wanted to say thank you to the people that took the time to bring me back

1 返信at the risk of being accused of being a troll, but a substabtial amount of year one gear is going to be obsolete in TTK, perhpas not entirely in the initial stages but at the higher levels it will be.

Read your own post and imagine you aren't the one who wrote it....but having to listen to someone else rant and fume. 2. Imagine that you've read two DOZEN posts just like it today. 3. Imagine (as is the case if you are a regular here) You have to hear this...and this many times....EVERY DAY. Tantrums stop being cute when you're old enough to speak in full sentences. Never mind when you're old enough to write in full paragraphs. At that point, people just assume tha tyou are either crazy....profoundly immature....or both. If you want people to take what you say seriously, try turnign the HEAT way down...and stop the ranting, fuming, "I'm going to quit" ultimatums. Because I'm not your dad. It really doesn't change my world one bit whether you play this game or not. Offer rational, CONSTRUCTIVE feedback on how this game can be made better.....I'll be happy to listen to what you have to say.

Hate to tell you this but there will always be cruel people in the world. The anonymous nature of the Internet allows people to post without thinking of how their words effect others. What really makes me disappointed is that they seem to get off on pissing people off.

2 通の返信They aren't all trolls though. They are mostly fanboys that feel offended by what you say if it isn't 100% praise. They also pretend you don't bother them yet look at how many posts topics like that receive. Why? Because they are no life cock riders that can't be impartial but even worst are hypocrites because they somehow see themselves above those that complain or rant. At the end of the day treat the forums as a joke and you will be a lot happier. Good luck sir.

Unfortunately, people being dickish is trending in all forms of online social interaction anymore. I think quite a few people are addicted to slinging hate, or at least flying off the handle. Why think before one posts, right?

I don't get it anymore. Why not ignore it? Why not just not come on the forums for a few days? Why do you care SO much that you take the time to write this? It's a serious question. I bet I've played more than you and like this game more than you but I don't even get on the forums like that anymore. I don't troll and idgaf what people on here do or say. Never gonna see them in my life and most likely not gonna run into them in-game. Stop caring so much bro
