Its often hard to tell if people are leaving, or being error coded. The state of PvP in general is that there are either very good players, or not so good... there is much less overlap from where there used to be. PvP overall is fairly solved, so the good players already have their openings and rotations kind of set when they see what the map is. Where the not so good players dont really know where to go, so they kind of stay put close the the closest long lane that they can find until they get pushed... then they panic. I am what I would consider pretty average in PvP, and in GG I felt that in 80-90% of games I was the top player on my team (warlocks). Most would camp in rifts and just sit in lanes and not really participate and not rotate with the better players on the team. Some would leave, but often just sit and wait for the mercy instead. Many games I felt that I could play a solid game, and get 2.5kda while the rest of my team goes negative and gets mercied. I did have my fair share of negative KD games where I just got spawn farmed the whole time. I only left games where I strongly suspected the enemy of cheating or knew that they were a "cheater" when I checked the roster. Many players take the game way too serious when they play, even if they arent a great player. Trash talk or t-bag/disrespect the guys who beat them... its just human nature, and ego. If my enemy has a good game, I often message them after (if they have it available) to congratulate them on their game performance. They often think im being sarcastic, but if I feel that I was well challenged, I like to give credit where its due.

  • I get error coded atleast 3-4 times a day but ive predicted it to the point i know when to queue up so it doesn't happen as often midmatch for me, i can tell when people are leaving cause its usually after they die, cause then when they respawn, they immediately pull out their ghost and go to orbit, most of the people i see, leave in droves or one right after the other, and im noticing consistent patterns aswell. if my team is in the lead and then they start selling regardless of me trying to keep them alive (i sometimes use vexcalibur for the memes but nobody really pays attention to overshield) they'll start leaving, had one teammate panic pop a well of radiance (in the most inconvenient area) and still die, he left the game right after, another guy died before he got to use heavy (sniped) left the game then, and if someones using cloudstrike on the enemy team its so much worse cause when multiple people get caught lacking everyone leaves. Im aware of the error codes and the instability of the spaghetti code but i am certain its not error codes that are responsible for the matches me, my friends, and plenty others have been getting. it might just be cause im console but i don't see cheaters often unless i queue up with one of my PC bros, even then, i atleast manage to kill them atleast once except for this one match with a 5-stack all using lorentz driver (abysmal match) even if i do run into one in solo queue, i try to be as annoying as possible so my team can take it easy which sometimes works (until i get witchhunted by the whole team). Now, I'll Be Truthfully Honest. The increase of cheaters doesn't surprise me, when a game falls this low people get desperate, and yeah, it sucks that they're making the game even worse, but i don't blame them, if i was a PC player and i had to deal with the absolute chaos that goes on in some of those lobbies, id start tweaking too, but at the end of the day, all you can really do is take a break, get a clean mindset, and try again another day, or don't, the controller is in your hands.
