Bungie have form……they gave up what for Halo, they gave up Halo for Destiny, they gave up Destiny for Marathon.
They’ve moved on, maybe we should too?

Yes but this time we aint moving to another bungie game lmao. Going from halo to destiny was good, it was a unique experience, and dare i say an upgrade from the previous game. Going from destiny to marathon....is like leaving a house to live in a box on the streets.

Also, Bungie made it very apparent that they were done with Halo. They sold the IP, they left Halo 3 with little to no reason to make a sequel, and their final entry for the franchise was Reach giving off the full circle feeling.

Full circle; they originally gave up Marathon for Halo.

At least original Marathon was a fleshed out game. The new one looks half baked, still built off of their Blam! engine, and rushed out the door. There's at least one pattern I see: Bungie, a half baked game rushed to market to keep lights on, and an inability to communicate except through a marketing trailer that only spews toxic positivity about something that they won't let the wider audience touch to give their opinion in fears that it isn't as good as what they think it is because they are afraid of the criticisms they may face for their lack of creativity. This is not the same Bungie we came to know and love over the years. It is a shell of its former self. Sticking its fingers in their ears going 'la la la' because they don't want to listen to the people that kept them afloat all these years.
