I don’t know what y’all are planning to do with the stronghold rework y’all were going to do but it would be cool if y’all could a) make stronghold an exotic like aeon swift with selectable “sects” and let us choose between the “defensive sect” (how stronghold currently works) and the “offensive sect” (how the rework was intended to work), b) make the rework a sect for aeon swift so all classes could use it, or c) make the stronghold rework a new Titan exotic or all three classes exotic like aeon swift.
I legit love this idea. A defensive mode or offensive mode would be sick. The offensive mode would need to be different than the rework though, cause that was still very defense focused.

Yeah, to be honest I can’t remember what the rework actually was and was too lazy to go hunt it down to refresh my memory on it but I just remembered it being more “offensive focused” because it was no longer just block forever and win lol

Modificato da WinterSolstice: 10/10/2025 12:50:12 AMBasically massively reduced dr from like 93% down to about 40%, getting shot gave perfect guard stacks which when you swung would heal you and nearby allies for I think 40-50 hp and applied exhausted (10% damage decrease) to the enemy for about 5 seconds. The more damage taken the less stacks you get. And then removed the bonus like 30% dr while guarding and gave 30% dr for about 1 second after you stop guarding. These replaced all of the current effects. The effects on ergo sum were also massively reduced if I remember making it basically pointless on ergo sum. Funny enough apparently despite reverting the nerf ergo is now nerfed with the original effect as well.

None of this is accurate.

Aren't you the same person who tried justifying every single nerf? And not just strongholds but you genuinely thought stuff like queenbreaker and grand overture deserved it. Alongside that it is accurate. The healing was about on par with cure x1, the effect it applied was exhaust which has a visual indicator which made it easy to see how long it lasted, the dr bonus with versus without strongholds was VERY minimal after the nerf, and the stat bonus it gave to swords was reduced and needed to be built up (Strongholds sets all swords to 100 endurance and resistance but post nerf it starts at about +10 and builds up to a cap of 50).

Modificato da jhermannITJ: 10/10/2025 2:10:07 AMNope. "Alongside that it is accurate. The healing was about on par with cure x1" Nope. Complete and instant full heal, not interrupt'able. "post nerf it starts at about +10 and builds up to a cap of 50" Depended on the guard and it scaled to 100. Here's my initial analysis, the kit I used... The math: I just gilded my Conqueror w/ Strongholds.... You could still be invincible with no downtime as long as you had ammo. With Infinite Guard swords. This is the DR range: 95.8% - 97.8 % DR depending on how you built into it. 18 meters, just over 59 ft was the healing radius. Even with the worst sword guard with NO perfect guard stacks, the resist from guarding was .525.

You in fact WERE the person who justified all of the nerfs https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/264962888?sort=0&page=0 in fact the amount of posts you made justifying all of the horrible changes made it tough to actually find OUR specific conversation! Also your post feels like a "If you do ALL THIS! You can get some of the power of the og! Talk about an upgrade!" If you need to justify a nerf by saying you needed an entire build specifically around it to make it as viable as before then it's CLEARLY A NERF!

Nope. They can read what I said about all of it. I min-max everything. I min-maxed the old strongholds. That doesn't prove anything. And btw, before the changes even went live... was that post. Stop lying, lol. And it doesn't matter, because the whiners & weirdos got their way. 😇👍💠

It was great. Needed a little tuning. Faster Perfect Guard gains... Default Infinite Guard... I gilded my conqueror with them... the last 2 conquests I needed for it; Fallen Saber and Glassway.
