You’re totally right, dungeons are so close to being great solo content, but the boss hp is just ridiculous. Raneiks is slow, boring and yeah, wildly inconsistent. How many times do I need to prove I can jump through all those hoops? It’s a test of patience and nothing else.
I think a solo operative style buff would be fine

They arent supposed to be solo content. It's 3 man content that can be accomplished solo for the top tier players.

And nobody gets to decide what the dungeons are ‘supposed’ to be but the devs, they could open up the game with a little tuning don’t you think? Anyways, find me anyone who thinks Raneiks is a good time.

There are tiers. Its obvious. Otherwise raids and dungeons wouldn't exist. Its why some players can solo dungeons and others can't. Its why some can complete the campaign on legendary and others can't. If you cater to the lowest common denominator at the cost of the rest of your playerbase you create a game for nobody. R6 Siege exclusively tunes around pro-league. Guess what? It retains 3-4x the playerbase that destiny post content drop. Hell it even peaked higher than Destiny in the past couple of days on steam and they both just had a major release. I'm NOT saying to cater to only elites but to make the ridiculous assertion that "there's no tiers cause it's pve" is just ludicrous. There always has been. Those that can do Halo LASO and those that can't. Those that beat souls games and those that don't Those that no-hit souls games and those that don't The list goes on.

Skill has nothing to do with it. It’s a matter of boredom. This lowest common denominator, slippery slope concern isn’t even the point. What’s Raneiks gonna do? Shoot you? It’s easy, just unreasonably long. Spire of the Watcher is easy once too you learn the ropes. Great solo content until you meet the phat health bars. The fact this game doesn’t scale content to team size - is an oversight. Not something worth arguing for.
