They addressed it previously, with the ongoing issue - they want you to provide clips/evidence showing the issue, simply claiming something is happening isn't enough.
Ie buying multiple of the class item back to back from Xur and getting the same roll. Link to streams of the same roll dropping multiple times, see if the guy that did the previous weightgate site will run it again and provide those results.

It "still ongoing" does not fix or address the issue. The entire community came together and gave them proof what more is needed in a video by the way.

They addressed weapon weighting, around the same time they added RNG generation to known issues, they later on also asked people in #help for clips/evidence for Xur class items. It took a bunch of evidence/hard proof before, it'll be a heavy push for further investigations and the more we have the less likely they are to dismiss/ignore it.

This should be top priority because it sounds like they are not doing crafting that much right now and random rolls need to be random.
