Uhhhhh I don't think you know just how bad the stacking buffs are in comparison. They don't work with surge mods and only provide an extra 3% over them and take so many kills it ain't even worth it. Case in point Burning Path is 12 kills to get max stacks which only refreshes every 2 kills.
This same effect applies to all exotics generally given a second activation requirement but I'd doubt bungie would allow just a fusion kill because while they do suck in pvp x4 is enough to MASSIVELY reduce the ttk which is why the requirements aren't easy to hit in pvp.
If they did it'd probably be 1 fusion kill for 1 stack and maybe a 2nd one that's like "getting an ability melee kill instantly grants max stacks"

theres many exotics that dont require a bunch of kills for a damage boost, lucky pants, peacekeepers, no backup plans, mechaneers tricksleaves and probably a few others i forgot about. we are also talking about heavy and special ammo weapons here (excluding vex) so it would probably work similar to no back up plans, or even triton vice. And when i mentioned giving it a stacking buff i also meant it as it being one from the start, not swapping it out now, but even then, id take the plus 3% over a non stacking buff that just got nerfed lol.

Tbh I doubt they'll do anything that could buff it while Vex works with it. Vex legit got nerfed because of Rain. The rpm nerf and auto rifle buff exclusion that happened were likely from Rain of Fire since not super long before the rpm nerf they actually talked about possibly nerfing Rain's synergy with Vex because it was just too strong of a synergy.

i made rain of fire and vex my entire personality they cant take that away from me </3 but yeah i see why they're nerfing parts of it, i guess at the core my argument is moreso that warlocks dont have options when building into archetypes
