Changes to ICE BREAKER ….make your predictions.
I believe it will just load from reserves and be vaulted like the others.

They’ll make it over powered initially to try to draw people back to the game, but then nerf it a couple weeks later to then make it yet another irrelevant exotic…

I'm not too bothered about perks, I just really like the scope design, excited to just shoot enemies with that scope

Slot: Primary Element: Stasis Intrinsic perk: Built in headstone that emit a slow pulse Exotic perk: it has a charge bar with 12 charges, it generate passively 2 charges every 5 to 6 second, and 4 on kills either precision or affected by stasis (slow or freez), when the bar is full the player will either recive a magazi worth of ammo or will spawn a green brick at its feet Catalyst: 1. The stasis cristal created by the headstone perk emit a second pulse 2. It give 4 charges every 5 to 6 seconds 3. It will drop a special ammo brick that can be picked by all fireteam members Since its name i think it will be switch to the primary slot and converted to stasis

It won’t even be worth vault space, it’ll be a grab out of collections once or twice a yr when it’s useful for some activity type of exotic. Unless they give it back the heavy ammo glitch, which I highly doubt.

It will definitely load from reserves, Bungie will also wait for players to get it, buy the ornament, the nerf it into oblivion.

1 RispondiPrediction: Icebreaker will appear functionally identical to the D1 version until people realize the game somehow recognizes it as a Shotgun when it procs No Backup Plans. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)

Its going to have Anti Barrier baked into it. If you had it in D1 and use DIM (Destiny Item Manager) go look at the D1 version, it has the Anti-Barrier symbol already.

kills will proc ignitions, kill with ignition will generate ammo catalyst : reloading after multiple kills will buff this gun damage and ignition range/damage

1 RispondiIce breaker is probably gonna be really watered down, and pull ammo from the reserves every time you shoot it. Similar to whisper but with every shot instead of headshots.

1 RispondiIt was pretty sub par in D1 when D2 came out. Only use it for fun occationally. I think it could just be the same . Nothing to see hear IMO.

Probably it's gonna have Incandescent because it made killed targets explode in D1. For the ammo part, i'm afraid because even thought it was the very peculiar aspect of this gun, they said they don't want weapons that break ammo economy. They could separate gun's functioning in Pvp and Pve but they chose this way randomly like when they chose nerfs for warlocks. Besides, snipers in pve need a buff in general, there are very few viable choises worth for use.

1 Rispondi"This weapon has increased magazine size but cannot reload" and it holds like 25 rounds. That's my guess dunno if it'd be good but it keeps the no reload part of the gun.
