Not to hate, but the 10th Anniversary Armor looks awful
People have been asking for years for the Destiny 1 cover armor. Actual years. They were in all sorts of trailers last year, and everyone thought they were gonna be in Lightfall? Nope. Final Shape? Nope. So SURELY they’ll be in the 10th Anniversary, throwback armors.
Nope.
Some generic armor loosely ‘inspired’ from Destiny 1 concept arts. This is not what people wanted, and right now letting folks down while the games already hurting really wasn’t the play.

the hunter legs, arms, and cape rly suck. the fabric could’ve been good but i’m finding it rly hard to shade. the shoulders on the arms and the entire cloak just sucks the chest and helmet are alright tho, i like them

I like certain pieces of the Hunter and Warlock sets. The Titan one is the most generic of the 3. Aside from maybe the chest piece, I don't really like the Titan set at all.

I understand why the armor looks like it does, but I would have liked a second set, or even the ornaments that we got, to have been some really cool, out-there concept-type looking armor. It would have been amazing way to celebrate 10 years.

I CONCUR they could've made better armor and u would think they wouldve... They could've at least made an awesome ornament for this armor. I mean they treated the solstice better than their own 10yr anniversary.. I mean seriously I got the glowing solstice armor that u could buy with bright dust and it was hella better than their own 10 yr anniversary armor

By all means Hate, in this case its well deserved, No D1 Armor was that bad Was that 70s style parachute pants the Hunter is wearing ? I only wore the ornaments for the triumphs , have no plans of ever touching them again

Looks like the concept art to be honest, so all good as far as I'm concerned! Will I wear any of it?? Maybe, if I want to run recovery/strength, then it looks to be a solid choice. Will I use any of the ornaments?? No, probably not... perhaps the warlock gear, but not the helm.

8 RisposteAll they had to do was copy the concept art. That Hunter set in the concept art was perfect already. The set they gave use was a HUGE downgrade.

They look ok. Have that D1 vibe, which makes you look like a new light yet cool. Even the short cloak for the hunter gives the idea you are just a rookie guardian. 6/10

Nah it’s d1 inspired, except for the arms and the mark for the Titan I’m happy with the set. Could be worse, could be some glowy bright fortnight looking thing. At least this armour fits the destiny universe 🤷♂️

The robes took some getting used to but I like the Warlock and Titan ones for that FOTC look.
