(https://raid.report/xb/4611686018431338045 <- link is my raid report to verify that I did in fact do a master salvations edge. not a full run, but i definitely completed the raid) I recently did a Master Witness Challenge, got loot, got the commendation screen, got the tick on raid report saying it was my first master clear of Salvation's Edge. The Guardian Ranks screen says I haven't done a master Salvation's Edge yet. During the Lightfall year if I remember correctly, that rank up requirement just asked to "Complete the most recent raid on Master difficulty," and I remember only killing Nezarec and Crota on Master, not doing the full Root of Nightmares or Crota's End on Master, and getting the Guardian Rank objective completed. I'm not mad at this change or anything, but I have several questions: 1) Does this rank up objective require a full, uninterrupted run of Master Salvation's Edge (the whole fireteam can't return to orbit)? 2) Was this change from "complete the raid" to "complete the full raid" intentional? Was it announced anywhere? 3) Salvation's Edge has a triumph for completing all five encounters on master, while the other raids don't. Is this rank up objective linked to the triumph? If the answer to any of these questions is Yes, then the rank up objective should be reworded.
