Dunno why Bungie said its an issue, the exotic rotator has a generic option listed under Episodic as 'exotic quest rotator'. The 2 Lightfall-era exotic missions cause it to disappear as the option hasn't been updated to include them
The missions in the rotator have never been listed under Exotic Missions in the fireteam finder
