Big facts. I’m just confused as to why Bungie keeps nerfing snipers. They’re literally the riskiest pick out of the 3 main specials (shotguns, fusions, snipes). Like sure, I don’t like being killed by a sniper that I’m flinching crazy hard, but at the same time, snipers are almost useless without Snapshot, and they’re really hard to use without Opening Shot too.
Snipers need a higher headshot accuracy cone. I think they’re good on stickiness, but I think they need easier headshots, and they also need faster base ADS speed. That way when you catch someone off guard and they aren’t shooting at you, kills will be easier to secure.

It isn’t very risky for triple roller sniper to hold hands at the back of the map and hardscope all game

And it’s even less hard for triple MnK hand cannon users with shotguns and Stompees to absolutely dunk on any controller players in a 1v1 or team shot scenario.

Hmm then why are majority of tourney players on controller when literally only hc shotgun is allowed and only one sniper and one 120 is allowed.

Well that’s just straight up cap. You actually think most tourney players are on controller? My brother in christ, let’s look at the top streamers skill-wise. Zk, Frost, Benny, GoldExgle, Diffizzle, Panduh, Wallah. The only big streamer on controller is Gernader Jake. That’s it. Everyone else is on MnK. So stop the cap.

Those are not the best tourney players - they mostly do trials and streaming/entertainment now. The tourney players would be the likes of brutal, sayariu, foti,ajkai etc.

Snipers arent used anymore because special ammo is harder to get than before. So players prefers to have consistent options with their special ammo. You cant really miss a fusion or shotgun shot.

You don't need snapshot to hard scope a lane.

You also don’t need a brain to straightline someone and one tap them with a shotgun.

I never said they do...? I even said in another comment shotguns need to be reined in, but i wouldn't know how without completely ruining them.

No they weren’t. The only sniper I had a problem with was Cloudstrike, which seemed to take almost no flinch, and still takes less flinch than any sniper I’ve ever seen. Every other sniper felt fine. I don’t care about their flinch levels though, I just think when you’re not being flinched, headshots should be a lot easier than they currently are.

Idk about mnk but on controller sniper hitting the shot is not difficult.

A one shot kill from anywhere is not healthy? Then go play Apex. One shot kills will always be a part of Destiny, and the fact that snipers are incredibly high risk with a mediocre reward is pathetic. I would much rather just go build a Hawkmoon one tap than use a sniper.

Looking at your crucible report and seeing how you play really puts your terrible balancing opinions into perspective. You know absolutely nothing about what needs balancing in pvp.
