Did you not play the first game?
1 kit kill grenades on a 25s cool down. You'll wait 5x that amount of time for a d2 grenade [i]and[/i] it moves slower and does fraction of damage compared to d1 version.
Even after a decade people are confused as to what this game is or should be.

Dude. No lie. If you left sniper range and saw a blip, you had to bait a grenade before engaging. -
Nope, none of these idiots who are crying about abilities EVER played D1. Plus they're only complaining because most people play as hunters, which has been the case since D1.

Played since D1 launched all the way through to now. I dislike ability spam as it narrows the skill gap significantly, when we had full checkmate so many people were lost in PvP without crutch abilities and constant ohk weapons 😂

In a way, you have to avoid a barrage of abilities for the first 30/60sec of a match before engaging in the shooter aspect of the game 😂

That's why checkmate modifiers got removed, all the special & ability mains had full on meltdowns as they couldn't hang & we ended up in this sandbox. Still it's not the worst one we've had so 🤷🏻

It’s funny seeing these burgers trying to justify that prismatic hunter,340 pulses and autos are perfectly balanced because they know their crutch will be taken away and they can’t cosplay as someone who has skill anymore.

I don't think it will ever be taken away at this point. Bungie implemented checkmate rules & the majority of the player base cried so hard it's all pretty much got reverted. They cater for the casuals & always will

It's really hard for them to admit fault. They lose and then go well what's different between me and them? Then bc Hunter is popular they go "Well yhat must be it! Hunter uses hunter features! I'm so smart for figuring it out, I'm gonna go tell Bungie how I think game design works!" -
I main titan and hunter. Yet I perform on my titan just fine....because I know hunters HAVE TO use booby traps to be ultra affective. As not using abilities puts them at an immediately sizable disadvantage. The ones complaining are the type to always want to secure their kills, or run in and get up close... Its not hard to avoid a loud, blinking smoke bomb. And unless a hunter is SEEN using a dodge clone, its basically useless. A radar ping is meaningless until contact is confirmed. Always has been, anyone who complains because a radar ping isnt ALWAYS a player simply needs to learn to adapt.

I main Hunter too and rarely do PVP, but when I do I perform better with my titan. I have to focus on making plays and objectives as hunter. But on Titan I can just go auto/pulse and shotty and run around and be fine usually. -
I agree, titans are still fine. I did a card on my titan last week & it was easier than the hunter one I ran. All the classes have strengths & weaknesses people just gravitated to the hunter as the wombo is free
