They should: 1 Take it offline 2 Fix the game code 3 Upgrade the servers 4 Update server software, including security and anti-cheat 5 Return the game to service 6 Repeat steps 1-5 if any issues remain 7 Extend this season by however long they had to take it down +2 weeks (1 week for while the crafting glitch made many avoid the game and another week for when it was unplayable because of the "ddos" attack). And yes... this means Final Shape will have to be delayed too. Here's the deal... the servers have been annoying for years. But they started to be problematic after Witch Queen. The servers have become less stable with every season since WQ. I hesitated to buy Lightfall because of the server issues. This past week, I haven't even bothered getting on because clanmates kept getting kicked to the title screen mid activity... repeatedly. At this point, I don't care how awesome Final Shape looks... I'm not going to buy it if Bungie can't get the servers into properly working order. I'm not going to pay for an expansion and seasons I can't reliably play. While the Lightfall campaign was disapointing, the game breaking server issues are why I regret buying Lightfall. If they can't/don't fix this, I don't see myself buying and future Bungie games. I really hope they can turn this around, but I'm done funneling money to them on a hope. I need to see fixes.
