BUNGIE, SAY SOMETHING. ANYTHING.

You acknowledged the DDOS attacks and then went quiet. Can you say you're working on fighting the DDOS attacks? Just keep us updated on your progress, man. I get that things take time, but can you let us know when you expect this to be resolved so I know when to even bother logging in?

The thing with DDOS is two issues here. A) They can't predict attacks. If you could, you would simply be able to prevent attacks because you somehow predicted the future. This isn't the Minority Report movie where Tom Cruise has a system that let's him predict crime before it happens, letting him stop it. You can't "just know" they are gonna stop the attacks. Even if it is days without attacks and you think it is cause they stopped, BAMM, a new one could happen. The reason they are unexpected is cause YOU CAN'T EXPECT IT. How can you predict that hackers are no longer going to do hacking stuff, therefore, how can you update players to tell them it won't happen anymore? B) They could simply just pay a company like CloudFlare.com that has over 200 TERABYTES PER SECOND! of protection, costing very little in scale to the benefit, for DDOS protection but Bungie would never invest our money in making sure we get our service like that. This is Bungie. Good investments are a waste to idiots. Also. Devil's Advocate. You can't update the world that you bought into CloudFlare, more servers, got new security systems, etc, cause everything you tell the players on Twitter, the attackers read and would need valuable information. They simply can't tell you anything for those two reasons. Use your head. Now before you think I am defending them, don't. Bungie either: A) caused this by their lying, disrespect and straight up being shitty people, therefore the players suffer from Bungie's actions yet again. B) If it was truly random, why aren't they paying into DDOS mitigation services like every other company?
