What are your thoughts on the Crow theory?
Disclaimer: THIS IS NOT MY THEORY.
Ok, so some of you have heard about the theory that Crow is going to be the new Speaker. And some of you have heard that the old Tower is going to come back, in one way or another. Now, one obvious point is that there’s pretty much no room on the Tower for Crow. That’s probably the reason for him still chilling next to Spider. If we get a new Tower, we’ll have room for him. Also, the Season of the Chosen’s, or whatever the next season is called, symbol looks like a Tower upside down. Honestly, I like this theory. We’ll finally have a different social space from the one we’ve had for almost four years. What are your people’s thoughts?

I would rather him be the Hunter Vanguard than the nest Speaker imo. We don't really even need a Speaker at this point.

People go so hyped for the old D1 Tower, only for it to be a "Lol, sucks to be you" I'll believe it when I see it, not some cubmap or data mine. I was burned by this for too long, People where so quick to jump onto the hype train, over a leak or data mine. Let alone a certain youtube who thrives off such like this. "NEW LEAK, BEST WEAPON 2020?, SUPER BADASS, NEW CONFIRMED!" is most of this person's titles.

He is still in spiders lair because he is the seasonal vendor ,and season 12 content is available till Witch Queen If he was in the tower it wouldn’t make sense to players who haven’t completed the seasonal story yet -

I thought that Osiris would be speaker as he was taught by the original speaker. He can't be a guardian at the moment and he is an advisor to the vanguard.

Modificato da The Rhulk Syndrome: 1/19/2021 5:45:34 AMThere could end up having few flaws such as tower guardians hating for crow to be a speaker (there still are guardians who won’t let go the death of cayde which was 2 years ago) and in which he can go to the cosmodrome to avoid contact from other guardians (other than us obvious) but I do like where this is going.

1 RispondiSounds like a cool theory, and I can see where it comes from since Crow talks about the traveler giving him Visions in the Hawkmoon quest , but I think the Crow will still become the Hunter Vanguard, or at least that feels like the direction Bungie wants to take given some lore cards about Zavala and Ana honoring Cayde's Vanguard dare, and we also had a traveler Vision in the Red War campaign. Also, though I'm not confident, I'm pretty sure the Speaker can't be a Guardian. However, I'm a huge fan on the old theory that Osiris wil become the next speaker, and it feels more plausible to me since he's ghostless now (Gone but never Forgotten, Sagira.)

Him becoming the Speaker seems like what is going to happen. Bungee was pretty heavy handed in alluding to it.

Because he’s a lightbearer, he can receive messages from the traveler via his ghost, like the travelers dream. Speakers are always mortals.
