Hi,
I know this is probably an unpopular opinion but I really love blink and if you learn it’s jump-arc and when to activate, I honestly think it’s the best jump in the game, definitely the fastest.
Just a shame that the voidwalker is the only class that can do it so I’d love to see it on more classes.
I’m not sure if there’s lore reasons as to this decision but I’m pretty sure the bladedancer Hunter from D1 could also use blink.
IF THERE ARE ANY OTHER BLINKERS OUT THERE, UPVOTE SO WE CAN TELEPORT MORE ON THESE NOOBS!;)
Edit: Hunters could certainly use blink too, unsure as to how a Titan would do that though haha

Blink would definetly help with the shadebinder super movement. It’s really slow rn
-
how about we focus on fixing blink first before we put it on any other class. You must run the exotic to get any use You still have worse mobility and speed than top tree dawn You can be shot anywhere in the streak You can be tracked through the streak I can keep going
-
Ah, the days when hunters could blink....
-
I mostly, before stasis, used blink voidwalker. I have over a quarter million kills using blink and voidwalker. In my time using the class and tinkering with it I can tell you this.... Regular blink distance is shorter than the regular distance glides. But if your use to it you can speed teleport forward and cover ground pretty decently. You can also interrupt the sequence with grenades and other tricks to manipulate another immediate blink. Without astrocyte of course. I also used it regularly before the nerf to middle tree to supplement movement instead of the teleport in some instances to save on the super usage. To place blink on other subclasses would create to many problems. Stasis would be able to cover too much ground as blink is not a glide and reacts differently. It would also handicap you to a bunch of short distance without the sustainable height advantage of firing down on enemies. Top tree dawn with a ranged melee and icarus dash would just be broken. Storm caller roaming super already has a feature and blinking for chaos reach without being able to hold some Arial height doesn't sound appealing. As a longtime lock, I can't say blink would be great on other classes without reworks. I hope my reasoning made sense?

I personally hate blink for void, but pairing it with arc, man I would use that!
-
Modificato da Swiftlock: 11/28/2020 8:45:19 PMIt is most certainly not the best jump in the game since it inflates your hitbox to the size of a football field. Just shooting the trail is enough to count as a hit. Pretty much any decent PvP player can exploit this.
-
I agree with this, the helmet that improves blink would also be more viable on the other classes. The helmet sucks right now because all void paths are garbage at the moment.

Modificato da Warlock-6127: 11/27/2020 7:00:27 PMI just took off Transversive Steps for Astrocyte Verse. Im enjoying it better than Transversive. The intervals on "AV" need to be on the Regular Blink itself for overall consistency. There needs to be a timer on screen regarding when your on Cooldown after using 2 Blinks in rapid succession. There needs to be Invincibility Frames on the hitbox during the Blink Animation. We shouldn't be getting hit during our pre-image when we have blinked into an after image. We should be damaged either after Blink animation is finished or until someone is shooting at the after image only regardless of start up. No, it shouldn't be on other classes because of lore reasons. The moment blink goes on Dawnblade or Hunters I will quit this game for good. They need to remove Nova Warp and replace it with Lance Nova Bomb from D1.

-
I just want the Nova bomb replaced with a huge solar bomb that’s lights up the place..

Modificato da amazinj2084: 11/27/2020 8:45:46 PMBungie need to allow titans to have the melee tracking, and the range of it extended, to keep up with the abilities of hunters and warlocks, that have air movements and dodges. Especially the new hunters ability that allows them to dash around corners with lightning speed. I saw a hunter one second, then a bolt of light and he was gone. Why does the titan get left out in the abilities category? They will never compete in crucbile an will always fall behind a hunter. Which are kings in crucbile, warlocks are the prince of crucible, and titans are the peasants.
-
F that. Gimme icarus dodge on all sub classes
-
Give titans something equal to blink and icarus. We cant do shit when it comes to air movement. But a hulk smash
-
I feel like Balanced Glide has to be the most underused glide and it's just awkward that you don't have that choice for just one subclass. Putting Blink there instead of Balanced Glide pretty much says it all, I would love to see Balanced Glide replaced across the board or see the removal of Blink. Blink definitely has the lowest overall usage. But I think it would see a lot of use if it was available on more of the subclasses and would give Warlocks an actual utility mobility tool in crucible to match titan and Hunter which have plenty of those.
-
Modificato da Abyss: 11/26/2020 8:21:10 PMFirst of all, I agree that blink needs to be put onto the other subclasses in some way but first it really needs to be buffed so you can no longer be hit while blinking (breaks aim assist, none of this stretched hitbox bullshit where you become a larger target mid blink, should not be possible to take damage because technically my body is not on that plane of existence. I mean if hunters can't be hurt while teleporting/"shifting" with mask of backris then I don't -blam!-ing see why warlocks are still taking damage mid blink. Sounds like bungie bias to me.
-
Idk why but I had just kind of?? Assumed? That shadebinder was gonna have blink? Like we’re supposed to have that wizard power fantasy and blink would work so well with it. I’m imagining astrocyte with shadebinder omg it would be amazing. Anyway, yeah please don’t limit blink to voidwalker I don’t want to have to sacrifice my killing potential for a more fun movement option ty

Grim Eats Cake
Stuffing my face. - vecchio
I was so hoping stasis would have gotten blink and blink would have been fixed. -
Blink is the ONLY reason why I main Voidwalker
-
Yeah, not having blink on Shadebinder is the biggest mistake this game has ever made, besides the mistake that was pre-nerf OEM.
-
Modificato da dadestroya69: 11/27/2020 3:11:26 PMTitans don't blink, that's why we never lose staring contests. Old joke? Yes. Still stands true? Yes. Will I say it to the end of times? YES YES YES!!!
-
A God-awful jump ability replacing balanced glide? I'd rather gargle a cactus puree
-
Modificato da Olórin: 11/26/2020 11:09:16 PMThis is gunna sound super OP for a Warlock aspect but i dont care. Aspect changes burst glide into Blink and freeze enemies surrounding the point of entrance of the blink. This aspect will never be a thing hopefully but imagine how OP that would be but it would be pretty OP in PvP and fun in PvE.

It was on void for lore reasons so it should stay there imo also it gives the subclass something unique! thing is blink needs a massive buff before I even consider using it like I did in D1. As a buff; 1) increase vertical and horizontal distance 2) Reduce the weapon ready fatigue 3) add I frames to the previous location (make it so you can’t get beamed by being shot at your previous location... no idea why this is possible) 4) reduce blink time slightly (or allow 3 blinks before fatigue) Any combination of these will do as long as 3 is included!! I’m sure Bungie is just scared of bringing back blink shotguns BUT with stasis being as busted and ridiculous.... really I’m failing to see the issue in having blink being strong again.
-
Blink would've been better if they just revert it back to what it was back in D1 year 1 minus the ulimited blinking then it would be worth using imo, i find it sad that you need an exotic to make it close to what it was back in D1
-
no just buff it
-
I'd be down with that. I love blink! It's the only thing I use in crucible. Would be nice if it was on the rest of the subclasses. I thought it was going to be on shadebinder but nope.
