the greed of a few
I already censored 3 post related to the same topic, and it's like destiny 2 has reached the point of no return, we are many who paid for each dlc that came out, even when they were only patches with a kinematics and a pair of weapons that called dlc , but we pay anyway because we like the game.
but today with the new season we reached an unbearable extreme, eververse died with the last dlc, before we obtained engram continuously, managing to obtain ships, skin, etc. but with the new dlc the reward of engrams was removed and they gave us a few fixed engrams without the option of obtaining more except for paying more money. Today we have a season pass which has exclusive content, new mission, stories, ships, skin, weapons, etc. All exclusive to those who pay more money, and we who pay all the dlc we are left out of this, what the hell goes through the mind of bungie? Perhaps we have no right to that content if we already pay for everything, to what extent does greed and the desire to obtain more and more money from people. Tomorrow they will charge for playing a melting pot, they will charge you for making occasions with better rewards, and who knows why they will charge more, they have no limits and we the guardians care little for them.

I haven’t paid since Forsaken. Through helping others in PVE, a friend purchased the annual pass/Black Armory era. I saw, then, where Bungie was headed. Stealing from D1 and calling it D2; nerfing EVERYTHING; destroying Whisper; taking away what makes our guardians strong and then telling us” well we are telling you this now so you can create the best guardian to fight”. If you stop paying, you’ll still have plenty to do. Shit. Bungie’s so petty, they took everything out of the chests.

6 RispostePleasefor life of fcuking god just stop whining. I mean seriously they are a for profit business. For 35 dollars to got shadow-keep and the first season. For 55 dollars you got shadow-keep and 4 seasons or about 8.33 dollars per additional season. If you want to buy silver then you can get some pretty shiny little objects from some some ugly Blue Skinned Byotch named Evervese which in no way give you some kind of competitive advantage.

Silent majority of loyal players,papa maybe bless us someday,but now we watchin bad capitalism policy in videogame....i can curse all day,on old gear flush,price-content of shadowkeep,and now sesason pass with limited time (story mission),bad joke .they dont care about us,thats all and new player base(free-lure-pass) maybe ruined all...cos toxic and silly act in every coop activity.

4 RisposteI can understand where you're coming from, certainly. One way to look at paywall content is this: You already own the Game License. They aren't getting more money from you to continue paying support, development, server rentals, and other misc. overhead. They incentivise players to purchase cosmetic items that look unique, because otherwise they would have little to no continuing income for the game. This platform costs a great deal to sustain, and the money has to come from somewhere. As far as being locked out of collectibles, and other odd changes to the Eververse store, I can only assume that this is something they're working on. I choose to believe that they would allow players to still acquire that content, somehow, without a paywall. Typically this comes in the form of additional in-game effort, such as is required for players who want the seasonal exotics without additional expense; e.g., levelling to 35 season rank and claiming it that way.

1 RispondiWhy do you care that much about engrams? They're just cosmetic, the games free to play now, they bought themselves out so they can own their own game and split from a big company. You think money grows on trees or something? Servers are expensive to run and upkeep. They have to make money from somewhere, cause I mean dlc's don't add that much money to the pool for upkeep costs among with paying your workers and such like that. Also what new missions or stories are you being blocked by with a season pass, it ain't blocking you from anything from that. The weapons I could possibly see since the scrounger for the sniper and such are there but I mean they aren't that important and they probably will add a way to get them without the pass like with what they did in vex offensive
