Aztecross adequately explains how myself and many other crucible players feel currently.
Additionally, I should AT LEAST feel like I'm growing as a player, but myself and many above average/high skill players see no actual growth in skill either. With OEM, to Erintil, to recluse, to SBMM, there isn't even that sense of becoming better. We need change.

It's weird how none of these players gave any shits about the other 90% of the player base when they begged Bungie to remove skill last year and proceeded to farm the rest of the community for content views, but now they are victims. Yeah, no. Also it's weird how the top players love to tell everyone else that they can't get better unless they're getting their heads kicked in by the best players... While simultaneously endlessly crying about having to play against good weapons. It's almost like they don't want to have to face anything that is remotely challenging to them and just want to farm easy kills... 🤔 Bungie gave the community a choice; they introduced the D1 style Control mode with skill factored and also kept last year's straight cbmm QP in Classic Mix. No one plays Classic Mix except the top players because 90% of the community want to HAVE FUN and not get farmed and top players are pissed that all their lies about skill based matchmaking are being exposed. So it sucks that 2.0 kd players feel they can't see "improvement" but it's also incredibly selfish that they want to crap all over the Crucible and try to ruin it again for the other 90% of the community.

2 RisposteI watched the video and my opinion : Dude maybe a good pvp player but he is dumb and entitled as hell. Why the hack shall they receive for a valor reset. PVP players shall be happy that such option exist in the game. They always fail to realise that Destiny is a PVE game and PVP is there as a side activity. Does PVE players get anything good from majority of the actvities ? Hell no. Best gears are dropping from a PVP activity ( Iron Banner ) The amount of Streamer crying and complaining recently is outrages. I sincerely wish they all drop this game and go play something else so Destiny can finally go on a good track.

By the way since the release of SK the PVP playerbase dropped from 1.5 Millionen to around 900K. "PvP iS sO gooD" It,s a joke that Bungie catered to the casuals again. That nearly killed Destiny in year 1

The reason streamers and stacked teams are against sbmm is because they want to constantly steamroll every match against lower skilled players. They will tell YOU to get better at the same time they are crying about getting matched against players of their own skill level.

Put on your big boy sweat pants or find another game to play. Those are your options. I say this basically everyday now. The majority of players who play D2 are average-below average. The majority of players have better games, don’t get pub stomped nearly as often and their KDs are actually 1+. Sorry but it Sucks to be you.

4 RisposteBased on a false premise. How exactly do you “grow” in pvp? Your skillz can’t grow indefinitely. Meaning the “growth” is always limited. So for instance...if you had room to grow...then these challenges would force you to push yourself and viola...growth. Instead you’re saying these challenges roadblock you... So you reached your skill preak. Therefore your growth is over. Deal with not being the best.

130 RisposteThis game is never going to be balanced. its NEVER going to be a game of pure shooting skill unless Bungie seperates the sandboxes.....and they either can't or won't. Also, complaining about SBMM only serves HIS interests as a content creator. Not the community as a whole, or the average player. Bungie either needs to seperate the sandboxes....or GROW A PAIR and tell the PVP community that Crucible is never going to be an e-sport...and its never going to be a balanced game.

I couldn't care less about the crucible. It's trash, been trash for YEARS. Will be trash for more years. Also, Destiny 2 runs on Peer to Peer connections, so there's no server quality to improve. These youtubers seem to have no clue how the underlying infrastructure of this game actually works.

1 RispondiPlay classic mix where SBMM is not a factor then. You will be matched based on connection and not skill. So you will get high skilled players and casuals....problem solved. Next.

4 RisposteIt was talking about servers (lag).. and there being really no reason to play PvP. No pinnacle gear outside of iron banner which is once a month.. no materials outside of 10 masterwork cores every time you hit legend in valor making it so if you play nothing but PvP you won't be able to fully upgrade your armor etc.... just in general no real reason to play. Even though bungie said they were going to focus on PvP this season.... but did relatively nothing. What are you going on about? Growth? Eventually you hit a wall with anything you do in life... and the returns you see in "growth" vs hours put in become minuscule as opposed to when you first start something and notice giant leaps and bounds in your "growth". If you don't like someone else's playstyle I.E. for you it's apparently OEM/ erintel adapt. I didn't like hunters dodging disabling aim assist, hunters dodging getting full health, hunters having an unlimited super, hunters dodging and cutting tracking on tracking grenades, hunters dodging getting an over shield and health........ but I adapted without making a low key complaint post.

All things considered, I agree servers are showing signs of being overwhelmed even in pve where enemies are jumping all over the place and it takes more time to swap loadouts in activity. 3. I like pvp matchmaking lately, i havent seen as many pubstomping matches(i play control and ib) so yea whatever... Im not that good. 4. Destiny 2 is rediculously big and im down for Bungie to finish the Shadowkeep packages and call it a wrap on d2. Moveon.org.com to d3 or whatever. This game has been a cornucopia of failing and changes to the point my brain hurts sometimes trying to figure it out. Pvp like raids and other endgame stuff should award weapons and materials. It awarded unique weapons in d1, did it not?

Thats how you get better!!!!... i hear TrueVanguard too bi'ching about he cant chill... is simple... play something else! I agree with " F the streamers!", but i need to be rewarded too for playing only pvp. Is almost the end of the season and i dont have my armor fully masterwork, iron banner is as;s with the armor drops of 60+ gear. In my roster the pve dads are masterworked on multiple sets. And the fact the thorn ornament is locked behind buying it with cash is pure evil BUNGIE!

1 RispondiI can understand how getting beat by better players can help you get better, but my issue is, how can you "get better" against enemies in PvP that only run around with 1hk weapons and cheesey ass Artifact abilities? PvP is pretty much a toss out at this point. If your team isn't full of people using the most broken loadout, you're going to lose regardless of how good you are. I can see you improving when you get into actual gunfights, but most people main specials now and there isn't much (if anything) you can do against a map vooping Erentil or an invis duck walker with a Shotty. The only time I see people using actual guns, it's usually First Light players or it's my team trying to "have fun" until they realize that 80% of the kills so far have been fusion or shotgun kills. lol
