That's why the mercy rule is there. It ends unfair matches early. For every time you're on the receiving end of a bad match-up, you benefit from being on the good side. It evens out eventually and then you do get some really good, close games. I don't see the problem. You're never going to get perfect matchmaking. Why don't you fix your damn attitude?

Sbmm should be perfect matching though. If it worked the mercy rule shouldn't be used in 1/2 games. SBMM is clearly broken. I see it less in what I call random based MM. It's not done in connection because it's still leggy as Sh1t. Not done on skill either. They need to work on SBMM

It’s not skilled based. It’s win based matchmaking. Win based matchmaking let’s you win a round or two, then matches you with the worse teams possible for a couple or few rounds then repeat. It does not consider your personal performance. As long as you win or lose that’s what counts. Keep in mind that is how it used to be before Shadowkeep. Bungie therefore lied to us about “Skill Based Matchmaking.”

I like the mercy rule conceptually but it's so strict that obvious stomps still get dragged out to their conclusion. Kinda wish I wasn't penalized for leaving a match I can't win. No real point other than to be bored as we get meme'd on

Have you ever been a great awesome player in PvP and been dumpsters by little shits or by a clan consistently over and over. That’s what the guy is saying so fix your damn attitude and think about being in his shoes

I've played a lot of IB over the last few days. More of my matches were stomp or get stomped vs fairly balanced close call matches. If SBMM worked well, matches would be close call wouldn't they? I hope they keep SBMM in some pvp modes but fix the damned thing.
