Matchmaking system needs tweaking because it is ridiculous to have so many matches end early due to unfair teams.

IDK, I found it fun the first 2 days or so, when fireteams and stacks legit could not join in and it was basically solos only. Was pretty fun, but then Bungie had to go and fix the bug. Was fun while it lasted.

It's not matchmaking... It's people capping zones and all running off and not defending zones.

Git Gud.

My biggest issue was with how sweaty every. single. match was. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a challenge every now and then, but every single match was an uphill struggle when it came down to it. Before this week, I was sitting around 930 at max on my warlock, and I was getting matched against a full team of 950's and 960's. In terms of skill level, I'm sitting at around Fabled 2 in comp, which is just about perfect for a game mode that doesn't have power enabled. Gives me the challenge I need in some matches and the occasional beatdown in others, but it lets me improve my skill level without giving myself a migraine from all the bull... Iron Banner is in a rather bad place, honestly...

I dont think its the matchmaking so much so as the game mode it self. Being able to lock down the zones and then have the team that locked them down go straight to murdering the entire team and getting three points per head really adds up. By the time your team gets two lock downs it would usually be pretty much over. But that is my opinion and experiance.

During the first 3 days of Iron Banner it was the best I've ever seen it. Early Saturday morning until late Sunday night, I must have lost 20 games in a row, and out of maybe 30ish, was on the winning team 2 or 3 times. What happened? Lag, matches starting 4 v 6 or 5 v 6 (my team was always the short team too. Not even exaggerating for effect, and it happened for a lot of the matches. Too many.), people not playing the objective, seemingly awful talent distribution across teams, etc. So in just a couple days, it went from the best to the worst. We were considering just going back to Survival.

That’s what happens when you have control with good players vs bad or not so good players. Would you rather be on the punishing end of a 125-20 game? I didn’t think so.

Modificato da blade329: 10/23/2019 2:57:13 PMPart of the problem is when the "wolf's howl" and the all three locations get locked down. The first time that happens, the other team almost always looses. They probably just want to speed up matches. That being said, I saw a lot less mercy matches this time. I had more in the last IB.
-
This IB system is broken. But this is just a sympton. The unfair matchmaking is the real problem in every crucible list. The Bungie’s team just didn’t be able tô fix this problem since D1. The Peer to Peer is another serious problem. The company doesn't want to invest in dedicated servers. All major games have this support.
-
It's not because you play against better players, but against latency, lag and delay. If the one team sees you appear a second earlier on their screens, you mostly don't stand a chance.
-
This mercy rule is so annoying. I just want shoot other guardians I don’t care about victory. This thing even worse when you are doing some quest for example...
-
Some games I just don’t understand how it gets so out of hand so quickly
