There is no reason to use this exotic as it can barely return 40% of your super, change the ability to damage recieved from enemies of the light give super energy back.
That way PvP is unaffected and it can be viable again.

Super-regen exotics are a bad idea in general. They'll either be the best option or the worst. I suggest that Bungie rework all super-regen exotics into super-augment exotics, like Celestial Nighthawk. Exotics that only restore super energy or duration during the super are fine to me (Doom Fang Pauldron, Raiden Flux, Crown of Tempests, etc.). Some possible ideas: Shards of Galanor: Throw 4 knife volleys instead of 2, but individual knives deal less damage. Skull of Dire Ahamkara: Nova Bomb becomes the Lance version from D1, but has a reduced blast radius. Secondary Nova Bomb effects (Vortex and the void seekers from Cataclysm) remain. Orpheus Rig: Effect for Moebius Quiver stays the same. Top-tree tether has massively increased radius and duration. Tethered enemies take additional damage from abilities (applies to both skill trees). Ursa Furiosa: Move faster while blocking with Banner Shield. Banner shield protects all sides from attack, but has a slightly reduced duration (like 2 or 3 seconds less). Phoenix Protocol: Well of Radiance stays centered on the caster for its entire duration, at the cost of 30% slower healing and -20% duration. I think these changes would make all of these exotics very useful in certain situations, without always being the best options.

Boohoo, welcome to the Skull of Dire Ahamkara club

A single ogre can basically give you your super back after blocking a couple of its eye shots. 6000 goblins, the raid boss, a hydra, a Cyclops and a few fanatics will give you 15% of your super.

It just needs something alongside its current ability.

It was nerfed because of PvE.

most exotics are useless! Do you honestly think Bungie would buff them again after they nerfed it?
-
They was super useful in that dreaming city dungeon that's for sure.

All of the super regenerating exotics need a massive buff in the current sandbox. However, not how you may think. I think they just need to be re-worked as opposed to generating more super energy point blank. It would be nice if they give the same returns they do now but also have an additional perk alongside it that would fit in the current sandbox. For example, Ursa Furiosa could also grant allies an overshield to allies behind the shield and continue for a short duration. Or perhaps grant weapons of light to allies who stand behind the shield for a short duration after the shield is gone. Skull of Dire Ahamkara should regenerate all void abilities similar to the Crown of Tempests. Shards of Galanor can add a brief overshield when casting Blade Barage. Orpheus Rigs is fine the way it is.

The feed back on super energy exotics was something nerfed awhile ago, a lot of exotics kinda feel this way on not feeding enough energy unless you're against the biggest army ever.
