Iron banner pinnacle reward should be +2
I feel like a donkey with a carrot on a string and pole hanging in front of me. Really +1 it take forever to get ahead at least with +2 you would go up a level after 4 drops .

Or have 4 +1 bounties and then have an even more grindier one that may take longer to do and have a +2 or 3 drop.

With the very little amount of Pinnacle Gear paths, you pretty much have to have every drop be EXACTLY what you need and you have to do each activity each week per character without missing anything. My very first pinnacle drop were Dunemarchers at 951. My very next pinnacle drop? 951 Greaves from IB... Thanks bungie. After getting 951 weapons on Titan from IB, I switched over to my Warlock. My drops from the FOUR pinnacle bounties? All 951 WEAPONS. This is going to be another “Forever 29” situation.

1 RispondiWhy isn't there an IB Ghost, Ship and Sparrow that can be acquired by running bounties? Bungie needs to give IB a lot more of an incentive than just weapons, especially the same weapons for a year now.

15 RispostePeople are calling me crazy for this but were not meant to hit the 960 cap in one season its suppose to be across multiple seasons.. That's why leveling up the artifact as much as we can is important for those endgame 980+ difficulty modes

And raid pinnacles should be more valuable than IB ones. Also why the hell doesn't Survival give pinnacles? It's frikkin comp man.

Or pinnacles should drop like now +1 for all activities, and have a small chance to drop +2 and exotic-kind of rare chance to drop as +3. One more pinnacle chance is needed because raid doesn’t have power wp loot. I would add it to reckoning tier3 to get ppl play it. Or add extra hard recko tier 4 mode. And exotics engrams IMO should have a small chance to drop as pinnacle after hitting 950. Not constantly because farming Ordeal would make it too easy.

6 RisposteModificato da xbroggiex: 10/19/2019 3:07:02 PMIf you only play 1 character your SOL in terms of hitting 960 before the season ends, since even if you did the raid every week + 100k NF and all Iron banner bounties even with the extra 2 bounty bug you would only hit about 958-959 with perfect RNG. If you had multiple characters its possible with weapon switching but that also needs perfect RNG and the need of grinding up multiple characters and doing the all the activities every week on every character hoping you get perfect RNG with your drops. The math for one character is like this. Without IB: 5 drops a week 4 from raid + 1 100k NF Since they are all +1 that would be +5 power points which is only a little over half a level in terms of power points, so if we did the math without IB you would get a total of 50 drops during the season which has 10 weeks, this includes having perfect RNG and not getting slot duplicates. So you would get about 6.25 levels without Iron banner. With IB + 6 bounty bug: Iron banner only comes around once a month and if we do the math for lets say 3 IB since this season goes on for 2 months and a half... So you would get 18 drops in total across 3 iron banners on 1 character with perfect RNG thats a total of 2.25 levels. You add that up and you get a total of 8.50 levels over the course of the season. If you have 3 characters its definitely achievable to hit 960 before the season ends but you will need really good RNG and also do the raid every week + 100k NF and Iron Banner on all characters, that's not including the time it takes to get all your character up to 950 gear power before you start using pinnacle drops.

Same slot protection so if you just need heavy weapon doing nightfall pinnacle garauntees an upgrade. Right now as it stands this is a turn off from people playing endgame activities for loot. Exotics should drop as pinnacles after 950. Hopefully festival of the lost will give a 960 weapon, last years gave a max light weapon. Edit: I am very surprised bungie has not responded to either of the pinnacle rewards posts that are trending posts.

I picked up all 6 iron banner bounties and 4 of them ended up being the same slot so it was basically the same as getting 1. With iron banner and the raid and stuff. You’d need some luck to even go up by one light this week

10 RisposteI got to 960 in IB this week and did not get one drop above 950 so would love to hear from any who got a +950 drop. Progress on the artefact was the only reason reached 960.

I was a bit irked by the +1. I felt that, at the very least, gear should be +2. It seems silly and unnecessarily grindy to force us to level up each piece +1 from 950-960. In the process, I assume, requiring every item before obtaining 952 pinnacle gear. Personally I'd rather just have a single hard cap but if they want to do pinnacle gear at least make it drop at +2 and be mindful of what we actually need. It could have been worse but my rewards so far from Iron Banner. Warlock, 3 Power Weapons w/ 2 armor pieces. Titan I think it was again, 3 Heavy weapons, Mark and an armor piece. Hunter I just finally handed in 3 of the 5 bounties tonight because I just hit 950 (base) today after finally getting a cloak. Hunter got 2 Claws of the Wolf and another secondary weapon. So 3 of the 5 bounties on Hunter were secondary weapons. It really makes no sense at all to upgrade 9+ more Power and Secondary weapons +1 to 951 and wasting another 9+ upgrade modules.

Once you hit 950 pinnacle drops only give enough power tog et you to 951 and once you are 951 you’ll start seeing 952 drops. It’s ridiculous

2 RisposteThought we was getting a bounty or two per day after the 1s that were available from day 1, or am I mistaking? I accidentally redeemed 2 of the bounties a little too soon, cuz I thought you get at least a +1 if your 950, but didnt realize it doesnt count the artifact and power increase through XP. You have to have 950 gear and weapons on on all slot. That's my mistake, anyways it's not a big deal I've learned to say eff it and move on.

32 RisposteWth are you talking about? All my pinnacle drops have been +3 to +5 It goes off your average level, not the level of that particular piece ot whatever your artifact adds.

2 RisposteWhat does it matter? Literally nothing in the game really requires more than 940 unless you want to do 980 Ordeals (good name) for +1 bs. The raid levels you pretty well. I just do that and nothing else. Running the star chart is super lame at this point. I did the least I had to to progress. Like leveling is pretty not important as long as your fairly up to date. That shit past 960 is just an extra. You shouldn't grind it. Just let it happen.

6 RisposteIt's not just iron banner it's all pinnacle. I'm ok with the +1 even though I don't think power grind makes much sense. What should be in place is slot protection for pinacle rewards. It sucks to get 4 pinacles in a row in one slot.
