Speaking of Factions, I don't understand why they don't just have them as bonus vendors in a passive usage instead of no usage at all. Think about how in D1, you pledged to a Faction and just went out to play as normal to earn experience that would ultimately level-up your Faction to get a reward for some powerful gear. Why not do that again? With D2, you pledge to a Faction and earn those tokens again. I'm fine with the token system, it just needs to be more useful. So, you pledge. Doing a patrol grants you one token. Doing a Public Event gets you two; Heroic PE gets you three. Completing strikes gets you three. Nightfalls get you five. Crucible gets you, say, four for a loss or six for a win. Now, players can go out and do whatever they want and earn tokens to get Faction packages. Now then, add a leveling system to the Faction like you do with Crucible only this is based on the number of tokens redeemed. At each Rank for your Faction, you get a powerful reward with either a weapon or armor. You can then add something new to the Clan Banners where at Clan Level 3, Faction Packages have a chance of being powerful gear. So, now, there's a chance that when you redeem some tokens and just get a normal package, it has a chance of giving you powerful gear. Maybe make it like they're going to do with Legendary Engram drops in the world in Y3. The normal Legendary drops will still be below level but you have a chance that one will drop at your current Max Power Level. What about Faction Rallies? The way they've been doing it is just needlessly complicated. I feel that way, at least. So why not something more straight-forward? During Faction Rallies, Faction bounties become available. There will be five daily bounties & one weekly bounty for PvE and five daily & one weekly for PvP. The bounties earn players tokens but they also earn the Faction "reputation." Dailies are worth 50 and weeklies are 100. Through the week, when Factions hit a certain level of reputation earned, a new daily PvE and PvP become available to make it six, for each, players can complete. Then another level of rep brings it to seven dailies each. Then the last level to unlock is an extra weekly for each. After that, it's just all about the reputation earned for each Faction by completing bounties during the week. Nothing about doing this specific thing and getting it to a max level and not dying and going into a Lost Sector to open the final chest and get a couple tokens then do it all again for a couple more and, eventually, redeem a package. None of that. Do bounties, earn rep, get gear. Done.

    Iv been saying that since the first faction rally. Have the event every month or two months, introduce new curated weapons, but have the passive ability to earn gear through the vendors like D1
