Pinnacle weapons get pinnacle weapons.
[This was made before the announcement of the changes coming in shadowkeep. Im pleased to know that bungie have apparently been thinking about this issue for a while. I cant wait to test the changes and hopefully see improvements.]
Im sad that im starting to give up hope of ever getting the good pinnacle weapons. The only way to somewhat quickly and reasonably get them is to get someone to carry you (if youre not godly, or just dont have too much free time.)
Its made rougher by the fact that all carries seem to cost money. You cant lfg for help even. And when you go in solo, what do you find? Account recoveries and people who had $25 to spare.
TLDR: why does it cost money for solo players to get rewards? Thats sad.

I don't have much free time nor am I by any means godlike at PvP, I struggle to get anything past 1.0 consistently.. That being said, the only PvP pinnacle I don't have is not forgotten. Recluse and revoker are among the easiest pinnacle weapons period. I think the pinnacle design is fine for now, if anything lunas howl isn't worth the high effort it takes anymore.

You can LFG for help, you cant give up after one try. You need to work on it for hours/days/weeks to find a good team of friends to make a full team.

Some solo players and some players with friends seem to feel the need to pay for crucible pinnacle weapons. I believe its because they dont want to put the time and effort in to get good enough to earn those weapons, so they'd rather spend money than time and effort. Bungie decided to set a bar for people to get to, to earn these weapons. So if you arent good enough to get there solo, a team may be your only choice. Having a team in a team based mode makes a lot of sense to me. If you want to win so bad, why do you choose to play with random players? A personal achievement to win solo? You are putting yourself at a disadvantage, no communication, unknown skill level, you dont know if your team is trying to win, your team mates might be working on quests and not trying to win. When i want to win, i play in a team. You can communicate, work as a team, everyone wants to win, everyone has good supers and weapons and People are skilled. Playing solo, you need lots of patience to deal with bad team mates and matchmaking issues. You also need decent skill to carry bad team mates or win 3v4. If you dont have both of those qualities, then maybe solo queue to win may not be right for you. This week during Iron Banner, i was just trying to get melee kills. Someone messaged me and said that i sucked because i only had 2 melee kills. I wasnt even trying to win the game, just punching people only. If you want PVP tips, please let me know.

I went on lfg found a group. We did comp and did well. I went from 0 - 2100 glory in about 2 or 3 days time. I used stardust parcel as i dont have dust rock/service revolver with last perdition (rampage and masterworked for range i think). Thats it. That was enough to compete with all the lunas, recluses and whatever else. Its tough but its not that hard. Just get on the game and do it.

They aren't really supposed to be really quick to get, ever. Took me a week or so for Luna's Howl, mostly cuz I wasn't going straight into comp whenever I turn on the game. Recluse was easier to get for me cuz it was just getting to fabled, and with Revoker, you don't even have to reach a certain rank, just get enough wins and sniper kills. Don't have Not Forgotten cuz I'm not THAT much of a PvP player, and I'm just fine with Luna's Howl. I went mostly solo for these guns, except for Revoker cuz a friend of mine wanted to join me on the glory grind. I actually find it ridiculous that people pay money to get these weapons honestly. I mean, it's their choice and all on what they do with their money but it just seems like a waste to me. It may be rough to grind through but never give up!

I've gotten every pinnical weapon except NF completely solo. I have no desire to have the nf. It wouldnt add any fun factor to me. You can do it man just organize your time in the game and try to be efficient. The comp stuff just comes with practice

There are quite a few streamers helping people get recluse free of charge, as long as you are a follower to them. They constantly ask in the streams who needs help and will invite you in for a free easy run

2 RisposteIve grinded every pinnacle except hush and nf solo, it is very possible to get this. Is it possible that you may need to put more effort in than most?probably,but at least you will cherish your reward more than others. Just keep pushing, you’ll get it.

You can do without them. I soloed to fable with a graviton Lance and a botheration. Pinnicle weapons have ruined this game.

Dont pay to be carried. The vanguard pinnacles can be cheesed in the dreaming city strike by ignoring the objective and doing blind well instead. You'll need a fireteam though so you dont ruin someone's attempt at actually doing the strike. I'm a solo player, and got both loaded question and wendigo easily by posting for a fireteam. The crucible ones are a somewhat different matter, though I believe people put together LFG groups to cheese the kills in rumble (I'm not much of a pvp player so my experience is VERY limited in this regard). In general I have the best luck finding people by posting the fireteam request myself, rather than combing through the wall of advertisements. Just remember: you're not the only one hunting these weapons who refuses to pay.

I don't agree with recovs and paid carrys or anything like that, but at the same time I think your wrong to an extent on this. I solo'd 95% f my games for lunas, recluse and revoker.

Just got to keep your head up, I managed to get mine solo, took about 3 days. Id recomend watching videos and trying to get tips and tricks. And if all else fails. Chesse the -blam!- out of it with cold heart.
