Ban Bad Names
People who use suggestive, offensive game tags should be banned from Destiny.
Names like got-yo-mom should not be allowed to play this game. (any game)

Allo there, Unfortunately Bungie has no control over people's user names. That falls into Sony/Microsoft/blizzard/steam (and soon Google) if someone has an offensive name then report them to the above. If however you see it on bungie.net then you can report the profile or PM a ninja who will look into it 😀

1 RispondiOn PC it seems since the merge with steam the obscene character names are going unchecked. if you play for a hour or two you are guaranteed to see at least one character name that is over the top. Also there is no real way to report players with obscene character names in the report options. it simple states: Report? Abusive Chat - Verbal Abuse - Spam - Inactivity Quitting - Griefing - Exploiting - Cheating Bad Connection
