Will Shadowkeep fix endless roaming supers? Also - spawn camping?

Two things killing PvP enjoyment for me are (excluding my low skill level) 1 - Roaming supers. One, after another, after another , after. Sure - I can run away, but it's not why I play the game. And they seem to be endless in length. The number of times I'll get killed twice by the same super is, frankly, nuts. Perks to perpetuate supers (which blink about, avoiding tracking) get on my goat. I run tether just for the shutdown .. which is a reactive thing and not really how I'd like to play. 2 - I don't know if this is map familiarity but this year, more than ever before, I'll die only to spawn in front of another enemy camping the spawn location with an Erentil ... or a number of times, I'll died and then, as I'm spawning, I see the same guy who killed me last time, running to get position and shots before I can even move position (just happened again on Blackout). I'd love this game to me more about gun-play - about picking the right weapons for the right map (Bungie, tell us what map is loading so we can pick the right weapons on the way in) ... but the endless roaming super meta is OTT. Will Shadowkeep kick this crap into touch?

  • I’m going to say, No. It doesn’t reward any players with anything extra so Bungie won’t be addressing it. That is my psychic prediction, going off of Bungie’s history of only changing things that “help” the guardian. Let me know

  • I find it annoying that each match is effectively decided by whichever team gets the most Supers in and for how long they keep them up.

  • I can relate to this post on so many levels now grant it I use roaming supers but only once the enemy team starts being shit and starts teabagging but other than that when I'm on my hunter I run tethers for super and team shooting shutdowns I do hate how long it takes for tethers to actually tether an enemy whether they are in super or not. Now for spawn camping I cant tell you how much this topic triggers me cause it happens to me all to often the last iron banner was hell because since it's always control all it was was either someone sitting in the spawn because of my team only having 1 zone and them waiting in the back of spawn just to kill us before we touched the ground or the enemy team having those assholes that hard scope the spawn with snipers it does need addressed and it sucks cause almost every single map only has maybe 2-3 spawn points and most maps if you cant get out of spawn sets you up for spawn kills it sucks just like people who crouch in corners and just wait for people to run past and I feel like those people need to show up on the radar
