I'm trying to get a raid going but I can hardly get 3 people. Did we drop in player base again since the backlash?

I like how DT is putting out a false count for Bungie, to make it look like there is more than there actually is, lol.
-
Boycott? Just call me MR. 650
-
Yep. I'm on Boycott mode. I've played Destiny franchise since September 2014 until this last Saturday since I read the TWAB. What was the final push when DmG replied back to the community with an aggressive attitude saying the changes are coming no matter what the community says. Bungie doesn't have the time for its community's opinions, I don't have the time for them!

I think in 2 weeks the numbers will jump up because of the new season. It will stay level for another 2 weeks to a month because people will want to see what changes happened , leveling AGAIN to 750, and then after that it will start to tail off again. It's the nature of things except this time, bungie has 3 months in my opinion to right the ship cause alot seem to be headed to borderlands 3.

https://destinytracker.com/ Slightly. But the issue isn't the backlash to the nerfs. Its the steady erosion of the player base in general. People are getting burned out and angry about cores and leveling. The content of Season of the Drifter was too narrow, and most people didn't like it. The drop rates on the weapons are terrible....and Bungie keeps bopping along in complete tone deafness. The Outbreak Perfected quest kind of gave a shot in the arm to engagment numbers....but now that's dropping off. Shit, if there weren't lulls in Anthem and Division 2, AND I hadn't decided to break down and finally get 21% Delirium, I wouldn't be playing right now. This game is in bad shape systems-wise.

I have 8 pages of friends on Destiny 2 only half of one page was online last night and 5 of them were from my clan.
-
There are more people playing D1 than D2.
-
I know im going to quit, whats the point of even playing anymore if all the players hard work for decent loot is going to be nerfed into the ground. Been here since D1 it’s sad really. Good concept for D1 and D2 but in the end thats all it ever really was. 🤷♂️
-
I haven’t played since march! And doesn’t look like I’m coming back for the next season. I have more fun in the forums anyway 🤷🏽♂️
-
Nope. Even less do triumphs any mo

Modificato da XXII: 5/21/2019 9:20:13 PMGlad I have my clan. 44 clan members and you can't get people for a raid?
-
Probably
-
Last I checked player population was sitting at 500k
-
Well, I've been telling Bungie since D1 that they need Raid training simulations with NPC fireteam members who teach newbies the basics of the Raids, what you need to do, best strats for dealing with each part, as well as optional matchmaking for people who want to practice with real players once they get the hang of playing the various roles in Raids. Hell, just add optional matchmaking to actual Raids too... with fireteam settings where you can opt not to matchmake with people who haven't gone through the Raid training sims first.

Do you go into certain forges alone? Do you go into blind well and its empty? Do you find you start a public event and no one joins in? Yeah, people have abandoned this game and you know whats worse? More will soon after S7 drops. There will be a peak for a week and people will see how bad things are and disappear again. Every season has been a huge disappointment. Bungie are on life support. Sadly.

The player numbers have been dropping since the annual pass released.
-
No...well yes but you're not getting a raid team because you are looking for one very late in the week Most people raid on reset or 1 or 2 days after reset
-
They quit last summer. Thats why Activision dumped this franchise, forsaken was mediocre and didn't sell copies, cod out sold this entire franchise the first week
-
In a word, no
-
Numbers are about the same as usual, but the nerfs haven't hit yet, so look second week of new season, that should give you a better idea
-
Honestly, now would be an optimum time to get raids going before the nerfs hit and gameplay slows to a crawl. Usually, the most folks show up around Friday evening.
-
No. People dont raid 1 day before reset.
-
The TWAB came out as I was logging in, joined chat as they were discussing it 10 minutes later they had loged out and not back in since. These are mostly day one players who have just had enough.
-
Yep. It's a ghost town now. Only going to get worse.
-
Everyone has all the stuff so its pointless to do and lfg is a terrible place
-
End of season time leads to player burnout in general in this game's history. But yes, pair it with the incoming nerfs, pointless level grind inbound - people have less incentive more than ever to play/grind for loot.
