Improving the #Gallery Section
My favorite subforum, #Gallery, could benefit from some improvements.
1) Prompt users to select what kind of media they are submitting to this section, so it can be organized by fan art, fan fiction, concepts, and montages. I personally want to see paintings and drawings when I go to #gallery, so a filter would be great! I also like commenting on people's art, instead of just browsing the Creations Page.
2) Make all creations submissions into #gallery posts so that users can easily comment on them and view them in #Gallery.
3) Weekly or monthly art topic threads by community management. It would take like 50 characters typed out by a community manager to inspire users to post creations/fan fiction/montages on that topic, even without a prize. I know I'd enjoy it a lot!

As for point 3, I'm unsure about that. If it was for Movie of the Week, sure, but for general art stuff? I'm not sure if it would work. People would expect prizes, but maybe an art theme could work. I don't know, though. I suppose the "prize" could just be the recognition of some great artists.
