But as far as I'm aware, the Big Bang is a theory not a fact. Religion on the other hand is just an imagined truth somehow leant credibility because enough people have accepted it. And evolution is a result of genetic variation that allows for a better adaptation to one's environment. When finches first established themselves on the island, it's more likely that they were all of one species. Genetic variation occurred within that species and allowed individuals to be better adapted at obtaining food. Therefore they were more adapted to their environment, they passed on their genes and the rest is history. You can't point at a bird and say 'oh shit that bird hasn't turned into a dog yet. Evolution is a lie'
