Pretty sure I know which way this one is going to go. In my humble opinion this nerf goes too far.

2 RepliesUse on titan force barrier reload.

4 RepliesEdited by JayPhoenix: 10/14/2014 1:01:11 PMI took this as an exotic bounty only because my other options were Bad Juju or Thorn. Based on everything I had read in forums, I felt like this was going to give me the most bang for my buck. I'll keep it anyway, since I like to have one of each type of gun. But, fusion rifles are my least used weapon by far... If I can get a legendary one to drop, I may just dismantle PI and enjoy the energy to upgrade my Icebreaker or Praedyth's Revenge.

3 RepliesI'm in the middle of the exotic bounty for this right now. Is it still viable guys?

Edited by Poseidon1133: 10/14/2014 12:32:03 PMdepends on where you are asking. in PVP its still good, especially considering shotguns got nerfed. In PVE its about as useful as a poopy flavored lollipop

Don't even know what that weapon is, never heard of it, don't have it so can't comment, oh wait I did comment lol
-
2 RepliesAnyone who has this gun knows this isn't that bad 4 shot still kills in pvp an pve 8 was just a "well I suck an can't aim so 8 shots will surly kill something". I don't think it will be that bad fast reload will be nice on it for when you get in a tight spot.

They are gonna -blam!- this game up like 343 -blam!-ed up halo 4s weapons....
-
2 RepliesWait. Pocket infinity is getting nerfed?
-
After nerf they'll have to buff clip size to 4 bullets and its still gonna be a great weapons for pvp and pve. 3 bullets is too low for pve
-
3 RepliesPocket Infinity doesn't even need a magazine of 8 to be amazing. I always chose the stability perk rather than the increase the magazine size and I still performed great in both PvP and PvE. It'll still remain to be one of my favorite exotics.
-
Had it since week 2 and I adore the gun. The nerf is surprising, maybe a reduced mag size to 6 instead of 8 wouldnt be too bad. Or a reduced charge rate since its slow as hell.

3 RepliesEdited by Mooserati: 10/14/2014 10:42:28 AMI unlocked the Pocket Infinity like 3 days ago and I'm trying my best to figure out why everyone is going crazy. I mean it looks cool... but that's about it. It has a ridiculously slow charge time, feels way weaker than the Dammerung FR5, and only has a 3-shot mag. What exactly am I missing here? Are the upgrades supposed to do anything special? At the moment (for me at least, without the upgrades) it's just straight up unusable in PvP given the ridiculously slow charge time and weak damage output. I can't even see having a full auto mode be useful given the tiny mag size. I almost never get killed by this thing either, so I'm not quite sure why it's being nerfed...
-
4 RepliesIt will still be a "Good" gun. But, I really don't think it warrants an Exotic slot anymore.. PI or Gjallarhorn for pve? Pfft... As far as pvp goes idfk... I hate it.. repetitive nonsense with trash physics and "balancing" ...
-
4 RepliesCall me crazy but I never used the battery charge perk anyway. I used the stability perk and I still will. Plus my exotic arms for hunter have a perk of faster reload on special weapons so I can keep the stability perk and fast reload
-
2 Repliesi will trash mine this evening and i also will get rid of the bounty for another one. i'm NOT doing 200 nightfall kills for this now useless piece of garbage.
-
2 RepliesEdited by Orca: 10/14/2014 9:35:27 AMI will get the gun today and try it out for the first time. Seeing as I don't have previous knowledge of the weapon, I may like it. Wish me luck. :) Edit: a word.

Turned it into energies for my epilogue (which will be a marshmellow shooter now) right after I read the update, just finished the bounty a few days ago to. *facepalm*
-
8 RepliesSo they nerf this but no second look at ice breaker? Thinking it will get hit pretty hard soon
-
1 ReplyYou kidding? No way. Light/Beware is a lot better.
