in regard to crucible. The translation. "We're too lazy to implement regional servers and too cowardly to let players know that due to their locations they won't be allowed into crucible due to their locations as a fireteam ie; 1 in Zurich, 1 in Tokyo, 1 in Boston etc etc. We have no integrity and would rather see lagtastic matches."
Dear Bungo, grow a set, have some standards, and go back to regional servers. Anyone with any sense would understand that the lobby would be too widely spread and would of course lead to horrific experiences. D2, year 1, was some of the BEST networking I've ever seen. It's a shame that I guess, due to the company that owned you back then?? you refuse to follow a good example of proper networking out of spite?? I guess.
It's sad. I'll reserve my final comments for then. I do like how you took the time to explain how you've been screwing everyone over for years by basing the lobby off of only 1 players connection to the server instead of connection to the rest of the players in the lobby. That was honest for a change. Of course, with regionally dedicated servers, this would have been done properly to begin with, as was in year 1 D2. So again, why did you leave a system that worked? I can only guess at petty spite. At the end of the day, you shouldn't expect congratulations for going back to a system that worked. The only question that should follow is why did you abandon it to begin with?
