With the ‘new’ raid coming up, we’re bound to have a raid title that requires Master completion and encounter challenges on Master done as well, as with VoG and Vow. Frankly, that’s kind of stupid.
Considering that Master content bumps up in light level every season, I would like to see Master raids be required for only gilding the title instead of a prerequisite for the basic title. This change would motivate more people to go for the title, and give more incentive to run Master Raids past the season they’re introduced for the super-elite.
If they ever get around to Master-ifying the other raids (LW, GoS, DSC), are they going to make those titles require Master completion? No probably not. They even removed the Flawless requirement after the Forsaken raids. But if we’d like to show off how good we are or how much we enjoy a raid that released after season 14? Wuh-woh, looks like you gotta do Master.
Personally, I’m missing On My Go (which is a whole other mess) and all Master requirements for Disciple-Slayer. Since I’m a filthy pleb and a casual, I don’t really want to go through the arduous process of min-maxing my gear to deal with Master Vow, nor do most of my other friends. Why should I even try to complete On My Go if I know I’m not getting the title?
TL;DR Please remove Master Raid content from the basic title requirements, and add it to gilding requirements.

The raid title is for people who actually want to master the raid. As an alternative example, conqueror requires you to do gms which also go up in light level, if you'd take away master mode of raids you'd have to lower the requirement from gm to master for conq and make gms the requirement for conq
