I offer the same amount for the Leviathan as I have for Mercury.
400,000 Bright Dust.
If you can cut a deal with Eververse, you could convert that into 100,000 silver. A king's ransom for a derelict ship. And surely the Vanguard could use the resources to fill its coffers in these desperate times.
As for my plans for the Leviathan? Well I see the writing on the wall. Humanity is on the brink. Staying here. Fighting for a giant cue-ball. It is pointless. We are being used. Like pawns in a game we don't even know the rules for nor who the players are. And as an ancient AI named WOPR once said, "The only winning move is not to play."
So I choose not to play.
With all salvage rights to the Leviathan secured by me for 400,000 Bright Dust, I will repair it. Recommission it as a lifeboat for the Last City. It will be renamed 'The Quixotic'. I will convince Failsafe to join me as the Quixotic's pilot. Ideally, I'd want Rasputin to be installed onboard for defense, but I don't see how the Vanguard would relinquish him. (Though you don't trust him, do you, Zavala? I'd gladly take him off your hands.)
Everyone willing to escape is free to reserve passage with me for a small service fee. Your every need will be attended to by my staff of Calus-mech servants. Relax for the rest of your days. Picture yourself traveling among the stars. Free of worry. Free of fear. Free of pain. No cue-ball looking over your shoulder. No Darkness bent on consuming you. No Witness... witnessing you. Just peace and the wonders of the universe to explore.
Two pieces of luggage per passenger. No carry-ons. No pets other than dogs.
I look forward to hearing from you, Zavala.
