It was pretty fun loading up gms and raids with 12 people in them, so why not have a way to do it once a year just for kicks.
No rewards or fancy eververse items just 12 players, the activities and then the error codes it brings with it.

1 Replyjust copy fall guys or bring back SRL

1 ReplyLolol 12 player raids. Where it was easier cause you had more people, yet harder cause they were all talking.
-
I think it should be a selectable node the last week of every season. It doesn't count towards challenge, bounty, or quest completion. It is just a fun thing to look forward to before launching a new season.
-
If we had 12v12 then maybe a game on disjunction would get finished occasionally 💩💩💩🤣
-
2 RepliesThis needs to be a thing as it was loved by almost everyone. Once a season let it be a thing on 1 weekend.
-
1 Reply12 man activities was BY FAR the most fun I had in this game, ever. It's a shame they didn't see that bug/exploit as a golden opportunity to add a level of variety and freshness to their game. Not surprised though with Bungo, they have a known track record of micro managing everything we do and keeping a tight leash on the "fun" concept. Any time we get even the smallest taste of "fun" they grip tight and strip it away.
-
2 RepliesImagine a GM nightfall with 12 players? That actually sounds like a lot of fun.
-
Cus it’s fun and Bungie hates players having fun
-
How about just making it a feature? Make it a special mode (insert custom name here) that allows players to play PvE activities as a 12-man fireteam BUT enemies are fewer (due to performance) and have 300% the difficulty of their normal level. Also, have the activity then drop 2x better loot.
-
Holy -blam!- please no. I too enjoyed the 12 man bug, but holy -blam!- was that unstable as -blam!-. I’d prefer they actually design a mode as a 12 man activity than try to force it into the normal raids.
-
I got to enjoy a 12 man raid once just before that was fixed. Deep Stone Crypt. We started with 12 and ended the raid with 8. It was so chaotic in a good way, with everyone talking and laughing. Has to be one of my absolute favorite moments in Destiny. So much fun.
-
2 RepliesGm nightfalls would still be very hard with 12 people… The lives would fall very quickly to 0 with blueberries in 12 man nightfalls, leaving people dead for most of the strike.
-
3 RepliesSir this is MMO. Stop pushing Destiny in something IT is not. 12 players what a nonsense!
-
1 ReplyI missed out on when that happened and wish I could have seen what that was like.
-
No. I don't want to see people fail a 12 man Deep Stone Crypt again. Honestly it's just sad.
-
That would be fun, and no possible way it would cost money. So Bungie absolutely will not do it.
-
Control. 12 vs 12.
-
That was fun actually.
-
12 player stuff is just fun. Wish Bungie would just allow us to have a “Happy Guardian invasion” mode.
-
No rewards or fancy eververse items
I think you pretty much answered your question

Exactly!

I can't upvote this enough. Yes, Yes, Yes. -
They would definitely have to tinker with mod Density. Imagine with all the buff linears got, how strong 12 storm chasers, or 12 cataclysmic would be lol. Or have or 2 people using Div and just absolutely crush everything. That would be some real fun tho
-
I say screw balance. It'd be hilarious to have a limited time event where players are allowed to just let loose and be entirely overpowered. 12-man strikes, or maybe just activate Mayhem PvE content. I wanna go on a power trip. Sure it would make the event "too easy," but it'd be so funny for a short while, hence making it an event that doesn't last long.

1 Reply12 ppl for 1 kill patrol. Ez dubs lol
-
Yes please it would really make Destiny a stand out if they could do it consistently. A suggestion for a play type have it basically an assault to get in, ie Red Keep Entry, Cabal tank awin is if you get in with six players not dying. Yes this would slow the game play down but should make the underlying IT admin easier to handle.
