PLUM and BattlEye

Game will run fine for a little while, long enough for me to get partway through an activity, then consistently hit me with a PLUM and a BattlEye Timeout. I've made sure Windows is up to date and validated my game files through Steam, no change. [b]ETA:[/b] On a suggestion I rebooted my PC twice in succession, complete restarts both times, and weirdly enough that seems to have fixed it. For now at least.

  • I just made a post about this myself, but try deactivating any software such as Razer Cortex/Synapse and MSI Afterburner. If you don't use these, check for any of the software listed here: https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049199891-Destiny-2-PC-and-Third-Party-Application-Feature-Compatibility This seems to have resolved the plum issue for me but I am going to check more in-depth tomorrow.

  • I have been getting the same thing, same as you, ive restarted, gave battle eye all permissions/firewall exceptions, updated everything, verified files, and reinstalled the game. still constant plum, but it only started for me when solstice began, the game is almost unplayable for me at this point, i cant make progress due to this issue.
